1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. 5.2L V8, Automatic, 4x4 with the 242 transfer case swap to allow 2WD operation, Dana 44 rear axle with factory limited slip. It has just over 151k miles. It has power seats, locks & mirrors, sunroof, heated leather seats. It has a 4 inch ProComp Lift w/Goodyear Wrangler MTRs, 245/75R16 & wheel spacers. It has a Pioneer CD player & remote start with keyless entry.

Items recently replaced/installed: factory tow hooks, all new front steering linkage, heavy duty adjustable track bar, steering gearbox, power steering pump, battery, headlights & clear corner turn signals and fog lights, front and rear brake pads.

It is in used and has been used off-road and therefore has scratches. It had Bushwacker fender flares installed, but are now removed. They will be included. Due to the flares, the fenders had to partially be trimmed and do have mounting holes drilled in the body. The front leather seats have what appear to be white paint overspray of some sort.

Jeep shows off Moab Easter Safari concepts crawling the red rocks

While most brands are busy showing off in New York, Jeep headed out to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari with the company's fleet of 2013 concepts. This year saw the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II, Wrangler Mopar Recon, Wrangler Stitch, Wrangler Sand Trooper II, Wrangler Flattop and Wrangler Slim Concepts tackle the rocks and sand, and Jeep was kind enough to bring along a camera crew to film the machines rolling over a few obstacles. The result is the video below, though don't expect to see too much hardcore off road action.
Instead, the quick clip features more than a few interviews with Jeep executives, including Jeep Head of Product Design Mark Allen, explaining what makes the Easter Jeep Safari so important. NHTSA closes probes on Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey

The Detroit News reports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially closed its investigations into 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2004-2005 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey models. The separate probes found no issues that pose safety concerns. NHTSA began investigating certain Grand Cherokee SUVs over complaints that power steering hoses could detach during operation, thereby increasing the risk of a vehicle fire. Of the 24 reports of failure, none alleged smoke or fire in the engine bay, and Chrysler has since modified the power steering cooler assembly to reduce the likelihood of the failure.
Meanwhile, certain Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey vehicles garnered a government probe after receiving complaints that the models were equipped with faulty scissor jacks. The agency had received six reports of the jacks failing or causing injuries, including one incident that resulted in a fatality. But NHTSA says the jack failure rate is similar to those found in other vehicles. In those six cases, the government agency found the jacks were being used for something other than changing a tire, and investigators could not determine whether the emergency brake was set or the rear tires were properly chocked.
