2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT - Super Clean, Low Miles, Loaded!
This is an incredibly capable, great handling, beautifully detailed example of a monster vehicle. With its 470 hp, 6.4L Hemi and eight-speed, this thing can knock off 4.6 second runs to 60 all day. The steering is quick and tight, P Zeros provide incredible grip, and the chassis gives a buttoned-down, precise ride (SRT did tune the suspension, after all). If things get a bit out-of-hand, those big Brembos pull it down smartly. Plus, while your vision is blurred from the acceleration, you can carry a lot of stuff and still tow 7,200 pounds.
Inside, leather, suede and carbon fiber are everywhere under that panoramic sunroof. And with the high-end audio, multi-function wheel and really good 8.4-inch infotainment system, you’ll think you’re in a well-appointed German product.
Additional Options:
-Laguna Leather
-Tow Package
-Higher Performance Audio
-Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof
-Premium Headliner
-20" Black Chrome Wheels

Radical 2016 Jeep Wrangler suggested by job listings?
Fri, 31 May 2013With most inside the industry expecting the next-generation Jeep Wrangler to arrive for the 2016 model year, it makes sense that the automaker would be looking for some choice candidates to to fill program openings as the off-roader goes through its development. A recent ad on Chryslercareers.com suggests to some that the lightweight Wrangler Stitch Concept, revealed just two months ago and shown above, provides some clues about the off-road icon's next iteration.
According to Automotive News, the job descriptions - which don't name the model specifically - hint that the next-generation Wrangler will benefit from a serious diet. The ads appear to seek those familiar with advanced high-strength steels, hinting that lightweight aluminum body panels may appear on the 4x4. In addition, there are suggestions that Jeep may fit the Wrangler replacement with air suspension, as seen on the Ram and Grand Cherokee, to retain ample off-road clearance yet lower that chassis to improve aerodynamics at highway speeds. The job postings reportedly also lend credence to the idea of a diesel Wrangler.
It seems every bit of the next-generation Wrangler is up for review, as it will be the first time this iconic model is redesigned under Fiat ownership. Questions remain whether or not the Jeep will retain its clip-down hood, easy-to-remove door pins and folding front windshield - loyalists expect them, but fuel economy and safety standards may crimp their cases for survival.
Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Chrysler recalling hundreds of thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander SUVs
Wed, 23 Jul 2014The public might associated ignition switch recalls with General Motors - and with good cause - but that's not the only automaker calling its vehicles back in to fix that sort of issue.
Last month we reported that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was investigating an array of Chrysler Group vehicles for electrical-related safety issues. The administration and Chrysler subsequently issued a recall for 700,000 Dodge Journey crossovers, Dodge Grand Caravan minivans and Chrysler Town & Country minivans. But while the Jeeps that were also under investigation were not covered in that recall, they are being addressed in a separate one now.
Although Chrysler reports that it is only aware of a single accident stemming from this issue, it is "committing now to conduct a recall out of an abundance of caution." The recall affects the 2006-2007 Jeep Commander and 2005-2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, of which it reports there are 792,300 on the road: 649,900 in the United States, 28,800 in Canada, 12,800 in Mexico and a further 100,800 outside of North America.
