Have you ever heard the term "In the wrapper"? I have never been able to use it on a 17 year old vehicle but for this 96 Grand Cherokee it must be done. This 1-Owner with just 80,000 pampered miles is as new as they come on the interior, exterior and mechanically. Read on for a full description.

Mechanically motor fires right up and sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts great with no slipping or funny shifts. Drives down the road very well. Steering is tight with no wandering or shimmies. Overall the whole car feels tight underneath with no "loosey-goosey" feeling. Brakes feel good with no pulsing or pulling. Has a good PA inspection until 3/14. A/C is ice cold. This Jeep has the Selec-Trac 4WD which means you can switch from 2WD, 4WD part time, 4WD all the time, or 4WD low. Tires have about 85% tread left. This Jeep has been so well cared for mechanically and it definitely shows.

Cosmetically this Jeep is a new as it gets. The garage preserved paint is all original and shines beautifully in the sun. Body is nice and straight with no door dings. I hate to report to you that there is only one stone chip up front which you can see in the picture. No rust underneath on the rockers or unibody. All the lenses are in great shape and are clear as clear can be. Interior is clean as well and smells good and hasn't been smoked in. No tears on the seats and they aren't all blown out. Carpet and headliner are in great shape. Steering wheel isn't all bit out and looks great. Under the hood is all original and hasn't been detailed. Same goes for the whole car. Exactly how it was traded with no detail. Even the matting on the underside of the hood is mint and not torn. Cosmetically this is as fresh as they come and I've seen 2011's that aren't this nice.

You don't find them this nice everyday that have been this well cared for with these miles. If you would like more pictures let me know, I can email them to you. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 717-823-3349. My name is Zach. If you would like to see it in person please call and make an appointment. I have a clean and clear title in hand. This car is being sold by Platinum Car and Truck Sales, LLC in Elizabethtown, PA. If you have any questions please ask before clicking. Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.

Going high-tech, the 4x4 way

Is It An Off-Road Adventure Or Just A Walk In The Park?
I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.

Watch this Jeep Willys return to its birthplace after 70 years

Sun, 23 Jun 2013

Earlier this month, a very significant Jeep was celebrated at the Toledo North Assembly plant. No, it wasn't the upcoming reincarnation of the Jeep Cherokee, but instead it was a 1943 Willys MB that visited the Toledo grounds where it had been built exactly 70 years ago to the day.
Of course, the actual building where the MBs rolled off the assembly line before heading to Europe for World War II no longer exists, but that didn't stop Italian owner Vittorio Argento from having the vehicle shipped to the US to make its trek back to its birth place. According to Chrysler, Argento's MB is still 95-percent original and it drove 1,000 miles from New Jersey to Toledo.
The whole adventure was chronicled on a blog aptly named A Jeep Comes Home. Scroll down for a brief video from Chrysler and for some photos of the Toledo visit and be sure to read more at Argento's blog.
