For sale is a 2007 Jeep Commander, a very sharp looking vehicle! Exterior is black, interior is black and gray. I am the second owner, we purchased from Finish Line Ford in Peoria IL. It had 23K miles on it at that time. My wife mainly drove it. It has been a very good and reliable vehicle. The ECM had to be replaced a while back (covered under warranty), we replaced the alternator last year, and we just replaced 2 transmission fluid lines. Other than that it's been normal maintenance - tires, battery, oil changes, brakes, wiper blades, etc. We drove through a hail storm several years ago and acquired hail damage. We had the hail spots professionally removed by DentSmart at Collision Revision in Peoria IL. One of the cigarette lighter jacks doesn't work in the front (there are 2), and the light behind the temperature control is burned out. There are normal scratches and scuffs for a 2007 vehicle - scratches near the door handle and a couple scuff marks from doors that could be buffed out I think. That's everything about it. Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?

Jeep does Renegade Chinese-style with Zi You Xia design concept
Sat, 19 Apr 2014As we mentioned, Jeep is bringing a quartet of concepts to the Beijing Motor Show this year. Its largest model, the Grand Cherokee, is nowhere to be found, but its smallest is. That, of course, would be the new Renegade, which has been done up as the Zi You Xia design concept.
Taking its name from the Mandarin word (or words) for "rebel," the Zi You Xia takes its inspiration from the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, with a Warm Chocolate Gray paintjob with contrasting dark bronze trim. The roof, grille and mirror caps are color-keyed to match the rest of the exterior, riding on 20-inch alloys in the same dark bronze finish.
Inside it's all Piano Black, Anodized Copper and brown leather with plaid fabric inserts. Scope it out in the high-res image gallery above and the press release below.
