1995 Jeep Cherokee 4WD with 6 cyl. motor and automatic transmission. Has 3" lift kit and double cardan joint in drive shaft. Excellent paint job. New, oversize tires. It has been a wonderful vehicle to pull people out of the snow with but I just don't have room for it. The front floors have been welded and repaired but the rocker panels have rust (pictures). The front driver's seat is broken (pictures). The motor runs well and has recently had the rear main seal repaired as well as the timing cover and valve cover gasket. There are still some leaks (transfer case and other parts). Custom glowshift gauges partially installed. The vehicle has a slow ground leak and the battery drains after it sits for about a week. Power windows work well, power lock switches and doors need work. A great vehicle to make repairs on and I would still drive it to Chicago and back.. Vehicle is sold as-is and buyer is responsible for shipping.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalls nearly 750k vehicles in two campaigns
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling a total of 747,817 vehicles in the US in two separate campaigns recently added to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration database.
The first one covers about 434,581 units of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee from the 2011-2014 model years with electric hydraulic power steering, the 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 160 amp alternator, according to FCA. In the affected vehicles, it's possible for the alternator to fail without warning and possibly cause the car to stall. According to the documentation submitted to NHTSA, the automaker began investigating the problem in August 2014 and has found possible evidence of one crash caused by the failures but no known injuries.
Customers will begin receiving notification about the recall next month, and obviously the repairs will be done at no cost to them.
2015 Jeep Renegade leaks out ahead of Geneva debut
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Meet the Renegade - Jeep's new baby crossover that's set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The folks at Jalopnik got their hands on a small batch of photos of the new little cutie, showing what appears to be a Trailhawk (read: trail-rated) version, as well as a more civilian-spec Renegade, complete with a new removable roof system, reportedly called My Sky.
Details are slim, though in addition to the exterior images, one photo of the interior has also been leaked, showing what appears to be a small, yet functional (and nicely appointed) cabin. Early reports suggested that the new small Jeep would be based on the Fiat 500L platform, though Jalopnik rightly points out that the Renegade looks an awful lot like the Panda 4x4. Regardless, there's still likely some 500L bones under there, and we'll know more once the official details are revealed in the very near future.
