This is one of the nicest CJ 7 Jeeps I have come across. It is in amazing condition for its age. This jeep has it all , From the near perfect rust free body to the unbelievable straight and rust free frame. The jeep is powered by the most popular of all jeep engines , the 258CID (rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago), T-5 /5speed transmission, along with a brand new center force clutch. No expense was spared on this jeep. It has the best BS Seats , front and back with G-Force racing series seat belts, GT Grant steering wheel, the Jeep has A/C that works (very hard to find on this age CJ). There is a SONY stereo with custom speaker box in front and Amp under seat in rear. The jeep has had a Spring Over lift which makes it sit just right on the brand new 12.5 x 33 General Grabbers mounted on Cragar rims. All of the body mounts are in great shape. Brakes are like new. The Jeep comes with both a soft top and Hard Doors and Bimini Top with half doors. Soft Top has tinted plastic. Jeep has Delta Round Fog lamps mounted on the new tubular bumpers. Rear Tubular Bumper has trailer hith receiver. The Interior of this jeep is as near perfect as I have seen. Usually on a jeep of this age I would install a carpet kit to give it a uniform look, but the floor pans , front and rear are in such good condition I would leave them to show them off!! The custom VDP console is nice as well for storage or putting down a beverage. The Engine compartment is original and clean. The wheel wells front and rear are in like new condition. The Roll Bar is in perfect condition as are the mounts. I am sure I have not mentioned everything but you get the idea I am sure. This jeep has never been off road. It has been used as a special occasion driver. You could buy this jeep as an investor or collector and leave it as is or you would have the nicest platform to begin a restoration with that I have seen. The White finish on the Jeep is accented by all new flat black hinges, mirrors, and bumpers. Really a cool looking Jeep. I have lots of pics so look at them carefully. I have sold 3 other CJ's and have 100% feedback so you can bid with confidence or Buy it now!!! Please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. You can call Ryan or text him at 239-980-1806

Chrysler recalling 644k more Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs over brakes
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Early last month, we reported on Chrysler issuing a preemptive, proactive recall for about 25,000 units of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. The issue revolved around a brake system that wasn't causing any actual problems, but delivered an unsatisfactory brake feel, so Auburn Hills called in a good 25,000 of SUVs around the world, including 18,700 in the United States.
Now Chrysler, having apparently determined that the brake problem on its sport utes is actually much bigger than it initially realized, has drastically broadened the scope of the recall. As a result, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for precisely 655,354 examples of the Grand Cherokee and Durango, covering the 2011 through 2014 model years. In addition, Chrysler is recalling 42,380 units in Canada, 21,376 in Mexico and 159,685 overseas.
The problem which Chrysler found revolves around the brake booster, whose center shell has been found to be subject to corrosion, allowing water to get into the brake system. That water in turn could freeze, preventing the brakes from working as well as expected.
NHTSA upgrading Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango headliner fire probe
Wed, 15 Jan 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation into headliner fires experienced by a small number of Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango owners has been upgraded to an engineering analysis, the step before the initiation of a recall. In August last year the investigation began with 146,000 Grand Cherokees from 2012 after three complaints were received, but a report on Edmunds says it has been expanded to include 593,299 vehicles covering the 2011-2013 model years for the Jeep and the Dodge Durango, which uses the same headliner assembly, because of possibly 52 incidents of fire.
In some of those incidents drivers have reported a burning odor, smoke or open flames that were contained to the headliner or migrated to another area of the passenger compartment. The culprit has apparently been found: NHTSA blaming an electrical short in the sun visor vanity light wiring, which is routed under the headliner and held in place by three screws. Chrysler began its own probe into the issue when it was first reported and is still looking into the situation while, "fully supporting the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's investigation."
Jeep going bigger with new Grand Wagoneer, smaller with sub-Renegade?
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The headlines are still rolling in for the new Renegade that Jeep unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week, but already reports are surfacing, citing sources within the company, about what Chrysler's iconic off-road brand will do next.
Speaking with Auto Express (whose reports we tend to take with a grain of salt or two), Jeep chief Mike Manley suggested that two courses of action are currently under consideration at Auburn Hills to develop two very different new models - one smaller and one larger than anything Jeep currently makes.
One plan would be to make an SUV or crossover even smaller than the new Renegade, although it isn't immediately clear what platform it would take. The Renegade (pictured above in Trailhawk spec) will be built in Italy alongside Fiat's upcoming 500X, but uses a heavily modified platform. We figure the smaller model, if approved, could base itself on the new Fiat Panda Cross.
