1984 Jeep CJ7 Laredo
NO RESERVE This jeep is a fun summer toy. I have used it on our land and neighborhood. it starts right up (very loud cut off exhaust) takes about a minute to warm up then it idles well. pull the shifter to drive and off you go! has large off road mud tires, 4x4 works fine. still has original door panels. I was told that the jeep had the engine replaced but I don't no if its true or not. all the gauges work how they should has really good power steering and power brakes HAS AC but the compressor isn't hooked up. (see photos) clear title in hand this is a really fun toy its not a daily driver yet. I don't know what it would take to make it one but just know you can't drive it back home to Montana. There is RUST SEE PICTURES I put new seats in but don't have a bracket for the passenger seat so its just sitting in there THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION WHEN IT SELLS IT SELLS. Please ask me any questions about the jeep before the auction ends highest bidder owns the jeep once the auction is finished. there is a 250.00 dollar deposit due 24 hours after the auction ends through pay-pal the deposit is NON-refundable. Freak accident during Jeep demonstration turns fatal
Mon, 20 May 2013A 20-year-old woman was killed in Edmonton, Canada on Satuday, reports CTV News, in a freak accident resulting from a rollover during a Jeep demonstration. As part of a fundraising enthusiast event called "Jeeps Go Topless," the driver of one Jeep Wrangler drove up and onto the top of the tire of another.
CTV reports that the owner of the topmost Jeep then switched the vehicle off, posed for pictures and then dismounted from his vehicle. His movement off of the Jeep apparently caused it to tip over, crushing a woman who was on top of an adjacent vehicle. Edmonton police are currently investigating more fully what caused the parking lot accident to occur. Scroll below to watch the CTV News video report about this tragic incident.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets power increase, minor tweaks for 2015
Tue, 02 Sep 2014As a brand within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SRT may have an uncertain future, but it's pumping out some seriously mean machines anyway. The supercharged Hellcat V8 may be gobbling up most of the headlines with its 707 horsepower, but even the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting some small updates for the 2015 model year.
Most importantly for many enthusiasts, the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting a slight power bump. Don't expect the 700+ hp from the Hellcat, but this SUV sees a modest 5-hp and 5-pound-feet of torque improvement to bring output to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft for its 6.4-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic. The minor change doesn't change the sprint to 60 miles per hour, clocking in at the same 4.8 seconds, or the tow rating at 7,200 pounds. Still, more grunt is never a bad idea.
Another new addition is the Active Noise Canceling system as a standard feature for this powerful SUV. It adds four microphones around the vehicle and uses the stereo system to nullify extraneous sound. However, Jeep claims that the meaty exhaust note from the V8 still gets through into the cabin for driver enjoyment.
