Due to health reasons I am selling my personal collection of high end sports cars. This XJR-S has spent its entire life in Arizona and Texas. NO RUST ANYWHERE In 1993 Jaguar and Wilkinshaw Racing produced a grand total of 100 cars only for the USA market. The cars were built on the XJS platform and called "XJR-s" 25 red convertibles, 25 black convertibles and 25 each of red and black coupes. There are only around 20 of these cars that can be found today. Car has a special 6 liter V12 and a Zytec electrical system (not Lucas) Comes with considerable ambiance. A/C converted to 134A BUT there is a small leak and the freon leaks out in a few days. This example was originally owned by a Playboy Centerfold AND was the very FIRST XJR-s ever sold in the USA. The paint is brilliant red, the top looks brand new, Power seats and windows all work like new. This is the ONLY XJR-S delivered with Chrome Wheels. The other 99 cars have identical wheels but they are all painted wheels. Interior extremely nice original Connolly leather. The parade boot is with the car and also looks new. It is wearing new Perelli tires. There is a solid sterling silver plaque on the console identifying the car as #16 of the total production run. (black dot with red circle in pic is a camera phenomenon and not actually on the plaque) This car was #16 built but #1 sold. All documented. Also have the original build sheet from Jag Heritage. Original selling price with dealer upcharge and luxury and gas guzzler taxes was around $125,000. Top speed 155MPH No trades. Don't want more cars

Jaguar XK and F-Type meet for final sibling faceoff
Fri, 08 Aug 2014There's nothing that real, dyed-in-the-wool car geeks love so much as to say "Old Car X is actually a lot better than New Car Y." For reasons that defy both logic and science, we all (your author included) are able to, almost simultaneously, bitch about needed advancements in current vehicles and then bemoan character lost in the next crop.
Mitsubishi Evo models have been supremely prone to this bifurcation of opinion in recent years (ask an Evo IX fanboy about the Evo X sometime... ), and performance cars wearing WRX, Mustang, and M3 badges have been deeply subject to it, as well.
The Jaguar XK and F-Type are not exactly in the same one-model, generational-changeover form as those mentioned above, but that doesn't mean that there aren't defenders of both the old dog and the new joint. Autocar seeks the truth of the matter in this new video, and we're just happy to come along for the ride. May the best sib win.
2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake
Tue, 17 Jun 2014We'd consider giving up vital organs for the opportunity to drive any number of vehicles on the Nürburgring: supercars, racecars, track cars, even hot hatches... but a station wagon? That might not seem like a top choice at first blush, but this is no ordinary wagon. This is the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake.
Now if that name leaves you scratching your head, there are several good reasons for that - not least of which is the unfortunate reality that, unlike so many performance-oriented crossovers and sport-utes, the Sportbrake is not offered in North America. But suppose it were, or that weren't a factor. You'd likely still be left wondering how the name Jaguar ended up on a station wagon in the first place, and how that machine wound up bearing the letters R-S, the suffix affixed only to Coventry's most hardcore performance models.
Our brief story goes back a little over two years to when Jaguar revealed the XF Sportbrake at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, giving its mid-level sedan an elongated roof and added cargo capacity. The Sportbrake may not be the first wagon to wear the Leaping Cat badge, but following the lamentable X-Type Sportwagon, it could be argued that the XF is the first authentic Jag estate.
1964 Jaguar XKE slinks into Jay Leno's Garage
Wed, 07 Aug 2013The idea of altering a classic Jaguar E-Type might seem preposterous to some, but Jasen Len of XKs Unlimited managed to create a modified 1964 E-Type that stays true to the Jag's timeless design. Just a few months after Jay Leno featured his own original E-Type on Jay Leno's Garage, Len stopped by to show off his custom Jaguar creation.
Starting out with a rust-ravaged body, Len made the car just the way he wanted it to be. He started off with some minor changes to the car's exterior like the Le Mans-inspired racing lights and handmade front bumpers, handmade sills with integrated exhaust and flared rear fenders. Inside, he dropped the floor to make more interior space and reworked the E-Type's styling for more of a modern look. We have to say, if you're going to mess with a Series 1 E-Type, this is the way to do it.
Sadly, even though Len and Leno spend plenty of time talking about the car's 300-horsepower 3.8-liter inline six-cylinder, we never get to hear the car fire up. Check out the JLG video, which is posted below, and as a bonus, enjoy the gallery from Jaguar showing a 1961 E-Type.
