THIS IS A BEAUTIFULL LOOKING CAR 100% JAGUAR THE LAST YEAR JAGUAR PRODUCED THE CAR WAS 1989 WHICH MAKES IT A VERY COLLECTABLE VERY SOON FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO LOVE JAGUARS.S THE BRAKES ARE BRAN NEW INCLUDEING CALIPERS, I ALSO PUT IN A NEW BATTERY.THIS IS A VERY GOOD RUNNING CAR SHE RIDES LIKE THE WIND AND STARTS UP EVERY DAY NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, JUST VERY MINOR ISSUES SHE IS 25 YEARS OLD .SHES NOT PERFECT BUT SHES A VERY GOOD CAR FOR THE ASKING PRICE JUST NEEDS A LITTLE TLC.I BOUGHT THIS CAR OFF A VERY GOOD FRIEND OF MINE WHO SERVISED IT REGUARLLY. I BOUGHT THIS CAR TO KEEP THINKING I COULD GET CLASSICAL INSURANCE BUT I COULD NOT AND I CANT AFFORD INSURANCE ON TWO JAGUARS.I CANNOT GUARENTEE THE MILES BUT MY FRIEND WOULD HAVE NO REASON TO LIE TO ME. |

40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax

The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.

Fri, 06 Sep 2013Following the teaser of the Jaguar CX-17 Concept released last weekend, the first official image of the Jaguar crossover concept appears to have hit the Internet ahead of its introduction at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Assuming this is the real deal, the tall, upright front end removes any doubt that this is anything but a preview for the upcoming Jaguar crossover, which will likely be called either the XQ or the Q-Series. Reports suggest that Jag's first-ever CUV is likely to go into production in 2016, and it will bring with it the option for a Jaguar-developed four-cylinder engine replacing the current mills still sourced from former parent Ford.

Thu, 11 Sep 2014An automaker with as rich a heritage as Jaguar is bound to create a few experts along the way... and some divergent opinions, too. So on the eve of the debut of the new XE, Jaguar brought together three experts to whittle down the long list of classic Leaping Cats to just ten.
For this gargantuan task, it brought in Ian Callum (who, as the company's chief designer, knows a thing or two about Jaguars), Lord Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox (the Earl of March and founder of the Goodwood Revival) and Brian Johnson - who may be better known as the frontman of AC/DC, but also a classic car enthusiast, collector and racer in his own right.
So what did the designer, the nobleman and the celebrity choose? The SS100, XK120 (namely number NUB 120), the C-Type that competed at the 1953 Mille Miglia, the D-Type that won at Reims, the Mk II sedan, the E-Type that served as the Geneva show car, the one and only XJ13, company founder Sir William Lyons' personal XJ6 S1, the TWR XJS touring car and the 1988 Le Mans-winning XJR-9.
