This beauty has miles 185500 on it, however the engine has been completely overhauled along with the rest of the vehicle. There is about $30,000.00 into this incredible Jaguar in mechanical and restoration, I have most of the mechanical receipts for the buyer about 12-15K and the restoration paperwork has gone missing, but it was restored by Unique Auto Sports, they have a reality show called 'Unique Whips' in which they restore cars in Miami, LA, NY, this car was restored in their old location on Long Island. Generally, the car itself is the paperwork for the restoration as she looks like she just rolled off the assembly line yesterday. I would say it's a 8.5 out of 10.
Some of the work done on this car, aside from a 'frame off' restoration, are ball joints replacement, tie rods replacement, steering rack, sway bars, and shocks replaced. All the brake components are new along with the catalytic converters and the exhaust, it just had a full tune up and the oil cooling hoses were just replaced as well. This work just short of 10k. Also the electrical system was replaced, and the engine rebuilt, radiator replaced and of course every belt and tube, all by the same mechanic. Furthermore, 2 of the tires are brand new, the 2 others are fairly new, really all 4 tires are 90+ %, all this and the vehicle as you will note by pix is NJ inspected until 2015.
In the fall of 06 it was brought into UNIQUE AUTO SPORTS. They did a full body restoration, paint job, full interior restoration. This included reupholstering the leather seating, and replacing all door and dash wood. The wood steering wheel you see is a fairly new addition, it is authentic to this model Jaguar xj6 wheel. The car does not go out in bad weather, ever. I welcome all inspections and test drives. The windows work, but are some times slow. Some times when unlocking the whole car, the passenger side door doesn't unlock, but it usually does. And I pay $250.00/year in insurance for this car, a huge bonus of owning a classic.
The car drives very well. Please don't be afraid to ask questions or come and inspect. I have nothing to hide with this vehicle. Great car, gets compliments everywhere it goes. Not a spec of rust on her and goes long distance with no problem at all. Great for rolling around the neighborhood or anywhere you want to go. Car has been detailed and looks amazing.

Jaguar Project 7 Concept
Mon, 26 Aug 2013The Jaguar Project 7 Concept debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed just last month. But unlike most concepts, which serve only to collect fingerprints on a stage, the track-ready one-seater spent its days barreling past the hillclimb crowds with Mike Cross, chief engineer of vehicle integrity at Jaguar, beaming behind its right-hand-drive steering wheel. What's more, the powers that be at Jaguar even let yours truly drive the Project 7 during the Concurs d'Elegance festivities at Pebble Beach last week.
Built on an all-aluminum V8 F-Type chassis with modified suspension, the Project 7 (a name acknowledging Jaguar's seven Le Mans wins between 1951-1990) is best thought of as an F-Type masquerading as a D-Type. The two-door is fitted with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 good for 550 horsepower (no pictures as Jaguar wouldn't allow us to open the hood). An eight-speed automatic, with a torque converter, sends the power the rear wheels, allowing the single-seat roadster to crack the 60-mph benchmark in just over four seconds.
Modifications to the bodywork include a new lowered windshield, carbon-fiber aerodynamics and a rear fairing with integrated rollover hoop. The driving position has also been lowered by more than an inch, allowing the sole occupant to not only escape the airflow, but take advantage of a lower center of gravity.
Hot Rod Garage series premieres with 700-hp big-block Jaguar XJ
Fri, 23 May 2014Roadkill hosts Mike Finnegan and David Freiburger have broken up - kinda - to spin off a new show, Hot Rod Garage, that mostly gives up the driveway and parking lot wrench work for the confines of a garage. We say kinda because while Finnegan is the primary host for Hot Rod Garage, Freiburger plays guest host and the new show starts off by wrenching on the Roadkill Draguar project car.
What's the Draguar? It's a 1974 Jaguar XJ12 that's about to be force-fed a 383-cubic-inch Chevrolet long-block engine with tidbits like Holley carbs, a Weiand 6-71 roots blower and a "custom WillBlow transmission," all good for about 700 horsepower. After that Finnegan gets into swapping parts on his wife's El Camino and some TIG welding lessons.

Thu, 11 Sep 2014An automaker with as rich a heritage as Jaguar is bound to create a few experts along the way... and some divergent opinions, too. So on the eve of the debut of the new XE, Jaguar brought together three experts to whittle down the long list of classic Leaping Cats to just ten.
For this gargantuan task, it brought in Ian Callum (who, as the company's chief designer, knows a thing or two about Jaguars), Lord Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox (the Earl of March and founder of the Goodwood Revival) and Brian Johnson - who may be better known as the frontman of AC/DC, but also a classic car enthusiast, collector and racer in his own right.
So what did the designer, the nobleman and the celebrity choose? The SS100, XK120 (namely number NUB 120), the C-Type that competed at the 1953 Mille Miglia, the D-Type that won at Reims, the Mk II sedan, the E-Type that served as the Geneva show car, the one and only XJ13, company founder Sir William Lyons' personal XJ6 S1, the TWR XJS touring car and the 1988 Le Mans-winning XJR-9.
