This is a high mileage Jaguar that has been well cared for. My sister was the original owner and always kept the car garaged (2001-2011) I've owned the vehicle for the past 2 years. The vehicle has never been in an accident or damaged in any way. It has always been a smoke free vehicle. The air conditioner and left side catalytic converter were replaced in July. The car runs very well, burns no oil and also passed the NYS inspection and emission control last month. The only thing that is wrong with the vehicle is the interior lining started coming down last year, I pinned it up and it hasn't been a problem. The car is available for inspection at my home in Center Moriches NY. If there are any questions just ask. I have the clear title to the car. The car needs to be picked up in Center Moriches NY. $500 deposit is due upon completion of the auction with the balance to be paid by cash or bank check when picking up the vehicle. Vehicle needs to be picked up within 7 days after the auction ends.

Jaguar demanding customer data from reluctant dealers

Nearly every major business is collecting consumer data these days, and keeping that data secure has come to the forefront of many customer's minds. Jaguar Land Rover North America's decision to begin requesting more customer info from its dealer network appears unfortunately timed, however. If it had come a few years ago, it might have been ignored, but in today's climate of heightened awareness, a few dealers are pushing back. To put the showrooms in an even tougher position, JLR NA is threatening to deny quarterly incentives if they do not turn over the customer data, according to Automotive News.
JLR NA instated the nationwide plan, which it calls Single View CRM, on February 7, but according to Stuart Schorr, Jaguar Land Rover North America Vice President of Communications, the automaker has been negotiating with its dealers to institute the new program for over a year. Schorr tells Autoblog that no financial information is being shared, noting that such data is limited to customer details, including things like what vehicles they own and whether they have any pending service. The initiative is meant to "improve customers' and owners' engagement with the brand," he said. Also, the company is not accessing dealer data itself; instead showrooms are asked to enter the info into JLR's database.
Chris Harris finds the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe rather drifty
Wed, 26 Mar 2014Our own Matt Davis may have called the new Jaguar F-Type R Coupe "one heady rascal," but our review was disappointingly short on drifting, tire smoke and general, English shenanigans. You know, the sort of things that Chris Harris from Drive excels at.
Actually, relative to Harris' other reviews, this one is rather serious. There's a good recap of the F-Type on the road, with Harris referencing the car's "great bottom" and "amazing ass," quite frequently. Surprisingly, Harris says the more powerful F-Type R is just "incrementally" faster than the 495-horsepower F-Type V8 S Convertible. Following the on-road portion, it's off to the track. You can probably predict what goes on there. Overall, aside from some quibbles, Harris has nothing but praise for the newest cat.
