1979 International Harvester Scout on 2040-cars

The truck is said to have been repainted in its current yellowand white top in the last several years. There are
noted spots in the side trimwith small dents and the rubber strips are missing. The white top featuressliding side
windows, a roof rack, and a rear window hatch in very good shapewith all hardware intact. There are no notable rock
chips in the glass, thevent windows and seals are in great shape and the glass overall appears niceand clear.

Additional equipment includes low profile mirrors and a 2” receiverhitch. This beauty sports stock steel wheels
wearing aluminum caps and Hankook 235/75-15Optimo H724 tires. They are mounted overfront disc and rear drum brakes
recently serviced. Front axles havemanually-locking Warn front hubs, nice functioning inner and outer
wheelbearings, brake master cylinder, and nice brake lines.

The interior features nicely recovered tan and brown plaidseats with brown vinyl sides and tan piping. Black
seatbelts and lap belts contrast the matching brown door panels,while the floors were repainted in a fresh yellow
along with the bed sides. Anoriginal center console with cupholders sits between the front seats and a nicematching
spare tire cover completes this beautiful interior with perfect hardtop interior panels. An updated singleDIN
stereo system with aftermarket speakers complete the modernized soundsystem.

Stock instrumentation in a turned metal-style strip includesa five-digit odometer reading approximately 54k miles,
which is documented bythe NCDMV and 100% accurate. The fuel gauge, horn relay, instrument bulbs, andglovebox liner
all are functional. Theunder-dash air conditioner was not ordered on this truck and has not been addedalthough
Niche Motorsports can add either vintage air or a stock style AC tothe truck.

The 345ci V8 features a single carburetor and retains a smogpump. The seller states the valve cover and oil pan
gaskets are all in goodshape and this truck is currently not leaking any fluids more than one or twodrops per week.
The power steeringsystem was topped off and runs nicely with a fully functional and correct steeringgearbox
without steering play however the truck does float across the lane asthese trucks often do.

A three-speed 727 automatic transmission and a two-speedtransfer case route power to the rear or all four wheels. A
transmissionservice was not performed at Niche but the transmission shifts in Reversesmoothly and glides through
each of the three gears flawlessly. The truck presents beautifully underneathwith full evidence of all original
metal floors. The exhaust is fully intact and does not leak,and the muffler and tailpipe also present themselves
very well.
