The vehicle is in overall good shape. Front bumper has a scrape, head lights are a little hazy. Rear bumper has some scratches. The vehicle was stolen while in the previous owners possession & was considered totalled by the insurance company. The owner loved the car so much he bought it back from the insurance company & repaired everything that was wrong.

I purchased the car four years ago with the intention of doing a VIP style JDM (Japanese domestic market) conversion to it. I changed the grill & hood emblem (mascot). I also changed the trunk emblem. I bought a whole Nissan Cima emblem set for the car & a 1997 Q45T trunk with wing as well as tail lights but never got the chance to put them on.

The car runs excellently but it needs a full exhaust & catalytic converters. I have to sell the car because I have too many projects right now & I can't afford to fix/finish it.

I think it would be the perfect car to do a full VIP build. For the price it could be a great entry level luxury car for someone who wants to "arrive in style".

Infiniti Q50 to enter British Touring Car Championship

Sat, 18 Oct 2014

Infiniti doesn't have much in the way of motorsports heritage. Sure, its logo is currently plastered all over the open-wheelers of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, but that's little more than a series of stickers - the turbocharged V6 hybrid still comes from corporate cousin Renault.
Perhaps realizing that, the company is dipping its toe into the motorsports pool in a much bigger way (albeit in a far smaller series). The Nissan-owned luxury brand will campaign its Q50 sedan in the notoriously rowdy British Touring Car Championship with a new factory team, called Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing.
The team works with British veterans' charity Support Our Paras, and actually will employ a number of injured vets as part of the team, according to the report on Motor Authority.

2014 Infiniti Q50S

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Ten years ago, nearly to the day, I took delivery of a brand-new 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT. The sporty rear-wheel drive sedan, equipped with its throaty 260-horsepower V6, slick manual gearbox and limited-slip differential replaced my 2001 BMW 330i because the Japanese competitor touted a product that was roomier, better equipped, quicker and lower priced. The G35 trumped the German in nearly every measurable category - at least on paper.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is the direct descendant, albeit two generations later, of the car I owned a decade ago. It is dimensionally about the same size, but it has gained more than 300 pounds of mass thanks to numerous safety upgrades and technical innovations. The additional weight is largely dismissed by a larger and more efficient powerplant that delivers an additional 68 horsepower, a welcome arrival, but the manual gearbox that charmed enthusiasts has been pushed out of the picture by a mandatory seven-speed automatic transmission.
As it has in the past, Infiniti touts its all-new Q50 as a luxury sport sedan worthy of the title. Decades ago, impressive performance statistics may have sealed the deal. Yet there is much more to the assignment today, as the model must offer premium appointments, sophistication and engaging driving dynamics if it's going to entice and capture the next-generation of young, premium buyers - much like the G35 did for me ten years ago.

Weekly Recap: New bosses try to jump-start Cadillac and Lincoln

Sat, 26 Jul 2014

Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
