Time to sell my baby and pass along this beautiful black-on-black 6-speed G35 Sports Coupe.  Never ever had a mechanical problem not related to normal wear and tear.  If your searching for a G35, your not going to find a better deal on Ebay Motors and you will fall in love with this car.

This car is a beast.  I bought it myself on Ebay from the first owner when it had 15K miles.  Since ownership, it's been garage-kept and only seen the Spring and Summer months (hence the low mileage).  This is the perfect 2-car solution if that's what your after.  I'm somewhat of a G35 enthusiast, so I wanted to alter the look and drive of the vehicle.  Therefore, I've made some modifications over the years.  The vehicle has a Stage 2 Exedy Clutch (you will not even notice the difference - so close to stock), I've put in Eibach lowering springs (great curb appeal) and 20' inch staggered MRR after-market wheels from CA (I have 2 sets - one on the car, 1 set of spares included).  The rear tires (285/70R20) are brand NEW (less then 2 weeks), the fronts have less then 5K miles on them (245/70R20).  Tread and balancing is PERFECT.

The vehicle came tinted, the small rear is scratched a bit, but can be fixed easily.  Honestly, just never got around to it.  The front bumper has a lot of scratches on it from road pebbles/debry, etc.  It has  small dime size ding in the corner panel and a scratch from when my mountain bike fell on it.  I saw it as a 'scar' and didn't want to re-paint it.

This car has NEVER been in an accident, only curb brush.  Never machine washed, only hand-washed and waxed.

All-in-all, I put in $6,500.00 in 'extras' and not asking anymore then book value.  I believe I have it PRICED-TO-SELL, so I wish the lucky bidder best of luck!  You will be VERY happy with your purchase.

Watch Formula Drift's Chris Forsberg break in a new warehouse

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

Here are just a few great drift cars: Toyota AE86, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Z, Nissan Silvia, and Ford Mustang. One vehicle you won't find on that list, however, is the Infiniti M, because it's a big, heavy luxury car.
It's comfortable, spacious and better to drive than you might expect. And yet, even though it was possible to get one with a very nice 335-horsepower, 4.5-liter V8, it wouldn't be the first car we'd gut and take drifting in an empty warehouse. Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg didn't get our memo, evidently, which is why we have this video of him flinging a big, white Infiniti through an empty building.
It's an entertaining video, if only because using an M as a drift car is just such a ludicrous sight. Scroll down to watch the entire clip.

Infiniti Q50S getting G37's hydraulic steering for 2016

Sun, 31 Aug 2014

Sometimes, new technology doesn't make things better. Take the march of power steering technology as an example. Electrically assisted systems are in vogue at the moment for their ability to increase fuel efficiency, but tuning them to offer good feedback remains something of a dark art. Some automakers get it, but most don't. The previous hydraulically assisted setups just seem to be inherently more communicative when driven with enthusiasm. And it looks like Infiniti might be learning this lesson the hard way.
In talking with Keith St. Clair, the luxury brand's head of product planning, Car and Driver has learned that the Q50S is probably going to ditch its standard electrically assisted steering in favor of a hydraulic system derived from the old G37, a model soon to be renamed the Q40. The system should make the sedan more engaging behind the wheel, but it still won't help those who tick the option box for Infiniti's controversial Direct Adaptive Steering drive-by-wire system.
According to St. Clair, Infiniti's engineers have heard the complaints of critics and previous G37 owners about the Q50S model's electric steering system, and wanted to see what they could do. They didn't have to go far to figure it out - all it required was taking the steering rack off of a G37 and putting it onto the Q50S. After a little tweaking, "the car is a blast to drive," St. Clair reports. Now, the company is said to be fast-tracking the switch, and it could be ready for the 2016 model year.

Infiniti darkens down QX70S Design for Paris debut

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Dig the Infiniti QX70 but wish it were just a touch more low-key? Infiniti will have the answer at the fast-approaching Paris Motor Show, where it will launch the QX70S Design.
Based on the vehicle erstwhile known as the FX, the QX70S Design gets dark chrome all over: on the grille, foglight surrounds, side air vents, side sills and license plate surround. The headlights are smoked and the 21-inch six-spoke wheels, roof rails and mirror caps are painted black.
The darkened treatment continues inside with black lacquer trim and black leather with purple stitching. The S Design otherwise gets all the equipment of the S Premium model. It goes on sale in Europe right after its debut in Paris, and while we're told this trim isn't planned for the North American market, there's no telling what the future will hold.
