2003 Infiniti G35 Base Sedan 4-door 3.5l, Needs A Little Tlc, Wholesale Price!! on 2040-cars

Year:2003 Mileage:193520 Color: a

This 2003 Infiniti G35 Sedan is being offered at a wholesale-to-the-public, pre-auction price!  This Infiniti runs and drives excellently.  The engine pulls very strong and the transmission shifts extremely well.  This G35 would make someone excellent and sporty transportation at a very good price.  I have not run this vehicle through my normal certification process and I have not detailed it as I want to offer the lowest price possible and sell it quickly.

Here is what I know that this vehicle will need as far as mechanical work is concerned:

1.  Passenger side rear window inoperative

2.  Master power window switch needs to be replaced

3.  Factory NAV is disconnected and needs updated NAV disc (unsure if it will work after that or not, but the display does work).

4.  Front brakes/rotors will need to be fixed/resurfaced/replaced

5.  Oil change and transmission flush/fill

6.  New front struts/shocks as they are pretty worn

7.  Small oil leak underneath (probably oil pan gasket needing replacement as this is typical of a vehicle of this mileage)

Cosmetically, I have taken photos of the major scrapes, dents, scratches, etc... I have noticed on this vehicle.  Overall, I would rate the exterior a 5.5/10 and the smoke-free interior an 8/10 for the year and miles.

Last but not least, the CarFax Vehicle History Report shows that this vehicle was involved in a minor collision on 1/5/2006.  There was no frame damage or major damage reported.  The vehicle has been driven many years & miles since then and still runs and drives excellently.  The CarFax also shows "mileage inconsistency" because the last service facility this vehicle was taken to incorrectly reported the miles.  This can easily be fixed by contacting CarFax if desired.  The true miles on this vehicle are 193515 as of 7/15/2014.

I am trying to disclose everything I possibly can about this vehicle.  Overall, the price I have on this vehicle is excellent and most of the issues on this vehicle can be taken care of very inexpensively.  I want to be able to offer this vehicle at a wholesale price to someone who needs inexpensive, but mechanically reliable transportation.  This G35 will be sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.

Please call/text message Josh at 816-401-3775 with any questions you may have, or to schedule an appointment to test-drive this Infiniti.

Thanks for looking!

Infiniti releases first image of premium compact Q30 Concept

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Behold, the Q30 Concept. Slated for a worldwide debut in Germany next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, this concept previews a new entry-level premium compact that Infiniti hopes will attract younger buyers to the brand, as well as give it a competitor in a burgeoning new class that's quickly filling up with options.
What will set the Q30 apart? Aside from a bold and aggressive design that picks up where the new Q50 and many concepts have left off, Infiniti says the shape combines elements from three bodystyles, all of which appeal to the sort of buyer it's hoping snare. Can you guess which three? No peeking at the press release down below. Give yourself ten arbitrary points if your answer was coupe, crossover and hatchback.
Infiniti promises a ride height that will be high enough to earn crossover credentials, and we're guessing it's got an actual hatch back there, which leaves the coupe. Where's the coupe in the Q30's design? The influence of a two-door is a little more difficult to see with the naked eye, but what the Q30 shares with some four-door coupes on the market is a roofline that peaks and begins to slope back down before the B-pillar and rear set of doors.

2013 Infiniti IPL G Convertible

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

Infiniti rolled out the IPL version of its G37 Convertible at the Los Angeles Auto Show more than a year ago. The Infiniti Performance Line treatment logically mirrors that of the IPL G Coupe, meaning it receives both cosmetic and mechanical tweaks designed to raise the pulse of driving enthusiasts. Aside from the overstated aerodynamic styling components and huge exhaust tips, the cabin features special leather upholstery, aluminum trim and IPL badging to distinguish it from lesser siblings. Under the hood, the 3.7-liter V6 (VQ37VHR) has been recalibrated to deliver 343 horsepower - 18 more than the standard coupe - and 273 pound-feet of torque. The suspension has been upgraded with firmer spring and stabilizer bar rates, multi-piston sport brakes are fitted and 19-inch graphite-finish wheels wrapped with summer rubber are bolted on. There are only two exterior color choices (Moonlight White and Malbec Black) and two upholstery choices (Stone and IPL-exclusive Monaco Red). Everything sounds marvelous until someone reveals its as-tested $62,415 window sticker.
DRIVING NOTES
The three-section steel roof raises and lowers in a leisurely manner - give it about 30 seconds each way. While it is marvel to watch, the operation seems clunky, not fluid. Buttoned up, with all four windows closed, the cabin is comfortable. Wind noise is minimal and the front buckets coddle passengers in all the right places. While tight, those of smaller stature will find the two rear seats tolerable for short journeys (my kids never complained). Outward visibility is also very good for a convertible - no impeding B-pillar.
