2011 Infiniti Fx50 With Borla Performance Exhaust 430hp!!! on 2040-cars
Bartlesville, Oklahoma, United States
This is an amazing car. The car comes stock with 390 hp, but after a hard break-in and a Borla Performance exhaust ($2,000 upgrade), the car Dyno-ed at 435 hp. It's 0-60 in under 4.8 seconds. This car is in the same league with cars twice the price (i.e. Porsche Cayenne, BMW X6, and Range Rover Sport--see http://youtu.be/hpk0jcjC2SI). This car has been well taken care of. It's in "mint condish" and has a custom clear plastic protector on front. Car includes 7-speed automatic transmission with Paddle shifters.
WeatherTech Mats included. If you want to use KBB or NADA, choose sport package, technology package, and touring package. Factory warranty good until June 2015 or 60,000 miles. I got a dealer trade-in offer of $39,500, but since they will sell it for $45,000, I figured I'd let the eBayers have a chance to save a few bucks. |

Final Recap: Days 2 and 3 notes, quotes, and takeaways from the US Grand Prix
Tue, 20 Nov 2012The Texas grass no longer rustles with 2.4-liter V8 exhaust blown at 18,000 revs, the Texas dust is no longer raised by hard-compound Pirellis. We saw a lot and learned a lot while we were there as guests of Infiniti, and after our Day 1 and race recaps, here are the bits left over from our time spent with the carmaker and Red Bull Racing, including thoughts on a "wicked" race, Christian Horner's quest for a more level playing field, Infiniti "going longer and deeper," and why Mario Andretti should get a police escort at the beginning of a race but not a microphone at the end...
Infiniti QX70 drops V8 for 2015, holds line on pricing
Fri, 23 May 2014
QX70 was the only application for the 5.0L, making it a tough sell in the boardroom.
It was always easy to chuckle a bit at Infiniti's branding of its FX crossover as a "bionic cheetah" - until you drove the thing. It was something of a revelation when it came on the market in late 2002 - certainly visually, but also in terms of performance, particularly in V8 guise. The Porsche Cayenne burst on the scene at the same time, and between the two of them, they vividly illustrated that the idea of a performance utility vehicle wasn't the oxymoron it first appeared to be.
Infiniti explored V8, diesel, hybrid power for Q50 Eau Rouge

Infiniti boss Johan de Nysschen "insists" the car be put into production.
Over the past few years, rumors have swirled about an Infiniti-badged, four-door version of the Nissan GT-R. Makes sense to us - Infiniti could certainly use a performance halo, and the seemingly forgotten IPL initiative hasn't exactly bore any interesting fruit. Enter the Q50 Eau Rouge, which recently debuted for a second time at the Geneva Motor Show packed with the 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged heart of Godzilla itself.
