2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Hatchback on 2040-cars
Portland, Oregon, United States
For sale is a 6-speed manual 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. A little over 25,000 miles and climbing as it is my daily driver. I am the original owner and I purchased it new in September 2012. Clean title. I really don't want to sell it but I have to cut back on my payments for my wedding in June. All stock and has a drop in K&N Air Filter. Everything is in great condition but there are two, 1.5 inch in diameter, spiderweb like marks in the paint. One on the drivers side mirror, and the other on the lower part of the front bumper. Both are not very noticeable. Will need new tires this summer unless I put some on before the car sells. It does come with the transferrable Hyundai new car warranty, good for 5 years/60,000 miles. I do still owe USAA, so they hold the title. Will do a bill of sale while the title is transferred to you. $500 deposit through PayPal due within 48 hours. The rest of the payment is payable by cash in person, or through certified funds.

Bisimoto Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a 1,000-horsepower tuner dream
Wed, 06 Nov 2013The big guns are starting to roll out at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This is the Bisimoto Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the promised 1,000-horsepower monster that was first shown at the end of September. We ventured across the SEMA floor to get an up-close look at this hugely powerful two-door.
The list of aftermarket parts fitted to this Genesis Coupe is extensive, ranging from that huge intercooler up front to a pair of Bisimoto/Turbonetics turbochargers to an AEM engine management system, all of which allow the 3.8-liter V6 to produce upwards of 1,000 hp. A full roll cage and Buddy Club seats and harnesses are fitted to the cabin, while a coil-over suspension blesses this Genny with some extra agility. We don't know what size Toyo R888 R-Compound tires those are, but as they're fitted to 20x11-inch wheels in back and 20x9.5-inch wheels in front, we're betting they're huge. We've got a full list of aftermarket goodies in the press release below.
We also have a full gallery of live images of the Bisimoto Genesis on the SEMA Show floor up top, so be sure to hop in and take a look at just what kind of potential can be found in this two-door Korean sports coupe.
Hyundai Veloster Re:Flex edition hits showrooms with $21,650* MSRP
Wed, 04 Jun 2014It's been several months since Hyundai first revealed the Veloster Re:Flex at the Chicago Auto Show. The special-edition of the quirky Korean hatchback features an array of chrome accents and exclusive available Ice Pearl paint along with LED lighting, red or black leather interior, and of course special badging all around, available exclusively with the 1.6-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine and six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Limited to just 3,000 units, Hyundai has now released pricing for the Veloster Re:Flex edition at $21,650, plus the standard $810 destination charge, for a delivered total of $22,460. That makes it $3,850 more expensive than the base Veloster (at $17,800 list or $18,610 delivered), but add to that the $1,250 for the DCT and you're already looking at $19,860 delivered. Add on the $1,800 Style Package (all of whose equipment is included in the Re:Flex save the panoramic roof) and you're looking at a delivered price of $21,660, so in the end the actual premium Hyundai's getting for the Re:Flex edition is $800 (plus whatever the missing sunroof is worth to you, because you can't option that separate of the aforementioned Style Package anyway). Details in the press release below.
Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
