This is 100% by far the meanest, baddest, loudest H1 Hummer in existence. I searched over a year for a H1 and thankfully I came across this.... a beast of a vehicle that Vision Audio in Cameron, Missouri found in the dry Arizona desert. In partnership with JL Audio, Vision Audio transformed a rust-free, never off-roaded cream puff of a H1 into what is probably the most insane H1 ever built.

The original H1 Hummer has the very rare E-Locker system. Dual zone AC / Heat. Cruise Control. Two separate diesel tanks with locks.

Now for the Mods:

22” XD wheels wrapped with 40” Toyo open country mud terrain tires;
Smoked out all 18 of the exterior lights;
High and Low beam headlights with a set of High Intensity Discharge bulbs;
Predator custom riveted fender flares;
2" Predator Body Lift and 2" Predator Suspension Lift;
Mile marker hydraulic winch;
1/4" steel plating on the undercarriage with Predator undercarriage extender;
Tinted windows
JL Audio 23 Speakers Total: 2 W7 subs, 1 W3 sub, 2 sets of ZR components 1 set ZR 8” mid drivers, 1 set of C5 components and 2 sets of Marine speakers;
4 Massive batteries wired in parallel to support these amps;
JL Audio was also the choice to wire and power the speakers: 3 JL Audio HD amps and 3 JL Audio XD amps;
Hushmat was the choice to keep the rattles and road noise at distance with ultra sheets and foam sheets;
5 (Five) 7” TV’s across the rear and 2 additional TVs with DVD and wireless headsets in both headrests, for a total of 7 TVs;
Apple iPad2 is the main audio and video processor installed in a custom dash pad for the driver;
JVC is the video controller for the system with its AVX77 in dash DVD unit;
Standard rubber floors were converted to a high grade carpet;
Two tone leather front and rear heated on the seats;
Two Edge CTS 4.3” monitors with each monitoring 4 different functions, replacing the analog gauges;
Putko interior lighting kit;
Directed Smart Start Alarm and GPS monitoring with Smart Phone integration
Custom brush guard;
High intensity KC Lights

Vision Audio used this as their show truck and took it to several car shows. It has a quick connector under the driver rear seat to hook up to a charging unit so you can play the system indefinitely for car shows, tailgates, etc.

I had a Gallardo Spyder and this thing by far gets more stares, honks, waives, etc.

I have a box full of OEM parts that were taken off the Hummer for this conversion. Mostly analog gauges and such.

This vehicle was just serviced at Lynch Hummer in St. Louis. If you are not familiar with Lynch, they were the largest Hummer dealer in the US. People still ship their Hummers to them for service from all over because they are the best. I have the last service record showing everything is up to par. The ball joints were just replaced and the tires were rotated. Inspections are welcome.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.

Canadian man saves four kids with Hummer [w/video]

A quick-thinking driver in Canada put his own life on the line last month when he drove his Hummer H3 in front of a distracted driver to save four children. Darrell Krushelnicki, 46, of Taber, Alberta, saw a car about to speed through an intersection. Four kids, whose ages ranged from three to 16 years old, were in the in the crosswalk, so Krushelnicki pulled his truck in front of a silver Pontiac Pursuit (known as the Pontiac G5 in the U.S.) to prevent them from being hit.
The identity of the other driver is unknown, but the news report says the 23-year-old male was talking on his cell phone while traveling around 80 kilometers per hour (close to 50 miles per hour) in a 30 kph speed zone (less than 20 mph). Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and while there's no word as to whether the distracted driver was ticketed, police say that they're recommending Krushelnicki for an award.

Architects design home made entirely of Hummers

Architects Craig Hodges and HsinMing Fung joined forces in 1984 to create their agency HplusF. Since then, the pair have gone on to apply their stylistic skill to the UCLA library, Hollywood Bowl, Egyptian Theater and a number of other works of architectural art. HplusF also tackles unique installations and showpieces, one of which involves the now-departed Hummer brand.
What could easily be a luxury apartment in the video game Fallout 3 is in fact HplusF's HummerHaus. Eight identical Hummer body shells wrap around a a steel skeleton to form a living space like no other.
Of course, this is merely a concept, but it's a rather interesting one. Could old vehicles be rehabbed into affordable living spaces? Could the Hummer body have a new lease on life after it was cut from the General Motors family?
