1995 Hummer H1 on 2040-cars
Tupper Lake, New York, United States
For more details email me at: trishtooman@cricketfans.net .
Hummer H1, 1995, gas V8, winch, winch controller, CTIS air inflation system. This Hummer H1 is in excellent
condition and has never seen salt, and has never seen winter as it has been stored every winter. The Hummer has
rear sliding windows, cruise control, electric door locks, power windows, and an aftermarket Pioneer single disk CD
player and Clarion speakers which sound great. The paint is in beautiful condition, and the engine compartment,
underneath of truck, and interior all in very good condition as well. This Hummer was never taken off road, and
has been very well cared for over the last 20 years as a collectable truck. The disclosure items of things to fix
is limited to the air conditioning not blowing cold, which I have not done anything about because the Hummer has
been a very limited use item. The Hummer is currently in storage, but I live on a farm and you are welcome to test
drive it on our roads, or have a local mechanic inspect the truck. Everything is in working order and in excellent
condition. An extra set of tires come with the vehicle, and they are in good shape with lots of tread - more
aggressive tread than what is on the truck now. The tires are free to the buyer of the truck but you will have to
figure out how to ship them.

Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.
Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes
Thu, 10 May 2012When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
Hummers are for Horses: Artist reimagines the monsterous SUV [w/video]
Thu, 25 Mar 2010Horse-drawn Hummer H2 - Click above to view the video after the jump
When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?
If you answered no to either of the above questions, perhaps you'll enjoy the video pasted after the break. Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Hummers are for horses? See for yourself.
