2004 Honda S2000 Turbo Ap2 on 2040-cars
Poteet, Texas, United States
I am selling my 2004 S2000 that is heavily performance modded. Car is in overall good condition. I have been driving it daily for a few months, but found that I am just too tall for this car on a 80 mile round trip daily commute. It does need a little TLC in the engine bay, but everything works as it should. I will also include a science of Speed a pillar gauge pod that I bought just never installed.tires are Kumho Ecsta on stock wheels 80% rear and 40% front thread. This car has thousands invested but am offsetting my asking price with what defects the car has. Head turner and fast!! I do have a bank loan on it.
Mods: Turbo kit 6766 precision turbo Precision intercooler Sheepey Inc Manifold Tial wastegate Injector Dynamic 1000cc Aem 320lph fuel pump Aem series 2 standalone Flexalite dual fans Custom full 3" dual exhaust Bads: Driver side rocker panel damage on pics Small dent on passenger front fender see on pics Fuse box has been warped by heat in engine bay Paint on passenger front fender Paint on a portion of rear bumper passenger side Few small tears on top in pics as well Electric power steering needs to be looked into. |

Honda CR-V spot delights with 'impossible' illusions
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Mind-blowing car commercials that employ optical illusions and jaw-clenching stunts instead of computer animation are becoming the norm these days, and everybody from Volvo Trucks to Forza Motorsport 5/McLaren are regular contributors to the growing trend. Honda joins the crowd in its latest European commercial for the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC Diesel, and uses well-placed props and well-drawn imagery to trick viewers into seeing the "impossible."
The old-fashioned optical illusion is alive and well in Honda's "An Impossible, Made Possible" spot, so go ahead and watch it and the making-of video below.
Honda recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans over rollaway fear
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Honda is recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans for an issue in which the vehicles may roll away after the key has been removed from the ignition. Ninety-two percent of the recalled vehicles, or 807,000 vehicles, are in the US. According to a report from Reuters, the effected vehicles include certain numbers of the Honda Odyssey and Pilot, as well as the Acura MDX. Here are the recall figures:
2003-2004 Honda Odyssey: 318,000 vehicles
2003-2004 Honda Pilot: 259,000 vehicles
Acura NSX production car headed for Detroit debut?
Tue, 23 Oct 2012Auto Express is reporting that Honda is set to unveil the production version of its upcoming Acura NSX at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The news comes courtesy of an unnamed "top exec" for Honda Brazil speaking at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. The concept version of the Japanese supercar is currently on display there. Interestingly enough, the same unnamed source claims the production iteration will remain aesthetically identical to the show car. You won't hear any qualms from us on that front.
Of course, the timing of the production debut is a little confusing. For starters, when Acura unveiled the concept last year, the company told the world it would be at least three years before production began. That would give the street-worthy model a 2014 or 2015 designation, the latter being cited more often in media accounts. Thus, we'll keep an eye out for the hybrid supercar in Motown, but we're going to stop short of holding our breath... it might be a while.
