This is a 1994 Honda Prelude ( VTEC) it has been maintained in excellent condition. I am the third owner and have known the first two owners for 10 years which were of the same family, it has always been serviced on time each year. Air conditioning is cold, the sunroof works perfectly and does not leak, all switches,gauges, electric windows, cruise control work perfectly. The only modifications that have been made to this car are the 18 inch rims, the sound system, and the can on the end of the exhaust. There were NO mechanical modifications made to this car, it has been kept completely stock and runs very good!!! The clutch feels like new, in preparation to sell this I had the the rear struts replaced, brakes and rotors all the way around were replaced with OEM parts as well. Last winter I heard a noise in engine compartment, when I had it checked, it was the water pump going bad, I had it replaced at which time the mechanic replaced the timing chain and fully tuned the vehicle. This thing drives great and is pretty quick, I bought it for my son to drive back and forth to college, it is still gettin 24-26 miles to the gallon. This car has not been beat or raced in any way. If you are not concerned with the high miles you will not be disappointed in the price I am asking, nor will you be unhappy with the ride/handling of this car. Honda Civic Tourer to debut at Frankfurt
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Honda will be bringing its new Civic Tourer to next month's Frankfurt Motor Show, just as we predicted in our spy shots of the new MPV from back in April. The new model, which will arrive in European dealers in 2014, will be built alongside Honda's Euro-spec Civic hatchback, Jazz (Honda Fit) and CR-V in Swindon, Wiltshire, UK.
Honda first hinted at the Civic Tourer with a concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which is set to do battle with the Toyota Auris and Volkswagen Golf in the European market. The production Civic Tourer will also be shown alongside a refreshed Civic hatchback, yet another NSX Concept variant, a McLaren MP4/4 Formula One car, and Honda's World Touring Car Championship Civic.
2016 Acura NSX aimed at Ferrari 458 for the price of Audi R8
Wed, 08 Oct 2014Acura has done a good job of keeping the next-generation NSX under the wraps for the past few months, especially after a fiery little incident during testing at the Nürburgring earlier this year. But UK's What Car? recently got a chance to speak with development boss Ted Klaus, and he unleashed a few new details about the much-anticipated supercar to make it even harder for us to wait.
Among the info was a strong estimate of the NSX's performance potential. "We have to achieve the type of acceleration that the customer is achieving with the Ferrari," said Klaus to What Car?. "More importantly we have to achieve this every day and also at the Nürburgring." Assuming Acura's supercar is as actually quick as a 458 Italia, then it could hit 60 miles per hour in around 3.5 seconds.
Klaus also claims that the wickedly fast performance could come at a relative bargain for the class. The price is reportedly being benchmarked against the Audi R8, which would put the NSX around $130,000 in the US. While hardly cheap, it would still be a healthy discount off a 458.
Honda recalls nearly 350k Odyssey minivans over unintended braking
Sun, 03 Nov 2013A problem reported with the Vehicle Safety Assist System has prompted Honda and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall for Odyssey minivans from the 2007 and 2008 model years.
The issue revolves around a combination of parts and software that have been reported to cause the vehicle to brake hard and unexpectedly, without illuminating the brake lights. Imagine driving behind one of these vehicles when the malfunction occurs and you can easily understand how an unexpected rear-end collision could ensue.
Unfortunately, Honda won't be able to fix the problem until next spring, at which point the manufacturer will call in the 344,187 units affected into their local dealership for a fix. In the meantime, Honda will instruct owners on how to avoid the situation. For further details, see the full recall notice below.
