relisted due to buyer not having the funds ready to buy. This is the last time I will be locating this car. I have owned this for a year and a half and had purchased it off a mechanical engineer at Pratt and Whitney who took great care of it. Honestly , the only thing I have done is change the oil since I've had it, it's been great and I love the car. It's all original with no modifications, and was hard to find this one in the northeast without a lot of rust on the wheel wells. I have still been commuting with it lately but am ready to get into my Camry. I hope I can find a buyer who loves the prelude like I do. Now it is 20 years old, there is a small exhaust leak, leaks some oil like every old Honda I've owned, some dings , a dent on the trunk, it's missing a sun visor, and the abs light has been on since I purchased it. This are no check engine lights, some rust on the sunroof, actually all of thing were present when I bought it . It's all the si model which makes it pretty fast while getting good mpg. Check my feedback, I will cancel bidders with low or negative feedback, and have a very low reserve. Cash only, no PayPal,or checks for this small amount.I am also selling it locally so the listing may end at anytime. I do not have more pictures or an extensive history for this car, and I wouldn't expect to in this price range. I am very helpful and will try to answer any questions.

Honda settles class-action lawsuit over oil-burning V6s
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Although we hadn't heard of this issue before, Automotive News reports that Honda has agreed to settle a massive class-action lawsuit brought against it for engine trouble potentially affecting nearly 1.6 million vehicles. The lawsuit includes Accord (2008-12), Odyssey (2008-13), Pilot (2009-13) and Crosstour (2010-13) models equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 with Variable Cylinder Management, which might experience engine misfire, excessive oil burning and premature spark plug fouling issues.
As part of the settlement, Honda will extend the powertrain warranty on these models for eight years (from time of purchase or lease) with no mileage limitation, and it will also reimburse customers who had to pay out-of-pocket expenses for related repairs such as spark plugs, pistons or, in some cases, apparently, an entirely new engine. (Of course, the repairs had to be related to certain trouble codes.) Lawyers will get no more than $800,000 from Honda and the guy who originally started the case, Vince Eagen, will get $1,000 for his "time and effort."
The final ruling on the matter will take place on March 21, 2014, and if you want to see if you're affected and what options you have in the settlement, check out this .pdf document with all the details.
Petition to bring Honda Civic Type R to US picking up steam
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Never mind what the executives say - we've had a sneaking suspicion all along that the upcoming Honda Civic Type R won't be coming to North America. And with good reason: both the prototype we drove in Japan and the concept unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week were based on the European-spec Civic hatchback - not to mention that some of the best hot hatches remain out of our reach.
Well it turns out we're not the only ones with that concern. There are legions of Honda hot hatch enthusiasts right here in the good old U S of A who want to see the new Civic Type R ripping up the Great American Road. And many of them are taking to the cyberclouds demanding that Honda bring it Stateside, post haste.
As of the time of writing, this online petition has gotten over 6,000 digital signatures, needing less than 1,500 more to get to the author's target of 7,500 votes. Of course, if and when the petition reaches its target, that still won't mean that Honda will bring it over, but it could mean that extra bit of encouragement the Japanese automaker's executives would need to tip the scales in our favor.
Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
