This is the car you've been waiting for. Super low miles and manual trans, virtually perfect condition inside and out. Bran-spanking new battery done at the Honda Dealer just 3 months ago. The best thing of all is this is and always was an Oregon (Portland) car. I was seriously into antique cars for almost 40 years and Washington & Oregon were the best places to find cars because the climate preserves all aspects of the cars. Rubber, plastic and metal. Cars from this area do not get rusty and plastic and rubber do not get hard or brittle.

This car was always garaged and rarely driven which is why the battery had to be replaced. The car was traded in and I got it by constantly watching Craigslist. I'm not a dealer and the title is in my name. If someone from Arizona buys this, no tax and license plates are only $46 per year. There is NOTHING and I mean NOTHING wrong with this car. As soon as I drove it home, I had the oil and transmission oil changed and car inspected by Dobbs Honda here in Tucson. They told me this car is in top condition and needs NOTHING. This is a NO Air-Conditioning model. This is the only reason I am even thinking about selling this car. In Tucson, it gets plenty hot.

The paint-- one blem in the left rear bumper. That's all---no scratches, no nothing. Like a new car. If I don't sell this car in this listing, I'm keeping it and going to have a Custom Leather interior put in. Price is not negotiable. Fly or Train in--drive home. That's what I did. Took the train to Portland and drove it home getting 79.9 MPG (see photo) and I had to drive through the Cascade Mountains. Total trip was 1590 miles

I will not accept full payment via Pay Pal, only a $500 down payment

Honda demonstrates driverless valet parking system with special Fit EVs

Sat, 26 Oct 2013

There are many challenges that will need to be sorted out before full autonomous driving becomes a reality, but automakers are taking small steps toward this advancement with semi-autonomous technologies. Nissan, Toyota and Ford have already revealed various automated driving systems, and now Honda is getting into the game with an automatic valet parking system that was unveiled recently at the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) World Congress in Tokyo.
Unlike Ford's recently demonstrated self-parking Focus, which is fully operational on its own, Honda's new system requires input from the parking lot via cameras. Combining information provided by the car's rearview camera as well as cameras positioned around the parking lot, drivers are able to drop their car off at a central location, and using a touchscreen display, the car can park itself and return when the driver is ready to leave. The benefit of this is that multiple cars can be parked at the same time and no additional sensors (other than a backup camera) are needed for the car, but the downside is that it can only operate on properly equipped parking lots. According to Honda's demonstration, this system can be practical by 2020.
Honda also showed off some semi-autonomous driving and non-contact electric vehicle recharging technologies at the ITS World Congress, although information is limited and there are no demonstrations available. Scroll down to read more about Honda's latest tech, including a video demonstration of the automatic valet parking system.

NSX Concept-GT is the world's hottest way to boil water

Sat, 05 Oct 2013

The Honda NSX Concept-GT is one sexy machine, and it looks to be a very effective tool on a race circuit. But Honda's latest web spot leads us to believe that it also can be used to make tea.
In the video, the racecar is hooked up to an apparatus that uses tubing to harness the energy from the car's 500-horsepower hybrid drive system, using it to boil water. The novel tea-making technique reminds us a bit of a couple other inventive Honda commercials, namely Hands and Cog.
Watch the NSX ad below, and be sure to turn the sound up to hear that glorious engine note.

Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...
