Staten Island, New York, United States

 Hey Guys,

I am a PRIVATE seller not a dealer.  I am selling this car because we no longer have a need for it.  It was my sister's car.  She decided to move to NYC and now it is not being used by anybody else in the family.  We are the ORIGINAL owners.  Bought this car at Bay Ridge Honda in Brooklyn, NY.  The car currently has just under 53K miles on it.  Car has never had any issues whatsoever.  Oil has always been changed on time and all maintenance done on schedule.  The car runs like a champion.  Very well maintained.

Please consider that this car WAS a smoking car before bidding.  Also the car has been in 1 accident as is evident by AutoCheck and CarFax(I have a copy as well).  The accident was very minor and occurred in 2009.  The car currently has a small dent on the right hand front fender, some light scratches on the left hand door and 2 large cigarette burn marks on the rear right seat along with some tiny burn marks on the front seat(less than the size of the tip of a pen).  One of the rims has some slight curb rash.

This car is going to be a great buy for whoever gets it!  Good luck bidding!

I reserve the right to end this auction early for a local sale!

Not sure why AutoCheck is not showing up but I will call ebay tomorrow to find out 11/3/2013!  In the meantime feel free to message me as I have a physcial print out of the AutoCheck and CarFax reports on hand.

Also if you have any questions feel free to call me at 718-866-5629 my name is Jacob

On Nov-04-13 at 08:53:11 PST, seller added the following information:

EDIT:  So I called EBAY...apparently "high-volume" is more than 5 vehicles in your lifetime.  I've listed 1 in 2009, and 5 in 2010 to help friends and sell my motorcycle.  Which by ebay terms no longer qualifies my for a free AutoCheck or free insertion.  How does this impact you?  Well if you want the AutoCheck or CarFax, I have a printout of both so just email/call me and I will scan and send it to you!

Honda S2000, Acura RSX recalled over brake boosters

Fri, 14 Jun 2013

Honda has announced a recall that affects two of our favorite, dearly departed cars from the brand's portfolio: the S2000 roadster and Acura RSX coupe. A total of 5,239 S2000 models from the 2006 and 2007 model years are affected by this problem, as are 13,113 2006 Acura RSX models.
"A production error may have allowed brake booster components to be produced outside of the original specifications, potentially causing decreased brake assistance over time, which could increase the risk of a crash," American Honda said in a press release. Thus, dealerships will inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake booster setups in these vehicles, free of charge.
No crashes or injuries have been reported in relation to this brake problem. Honda says the problem was discovered during warranty claim analysis.

Honda signs on as Pikes Peak sponsor, race participant

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

Honda plans to storm the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30, entering ten cars in nine classes at the race to the sky, and signing on as a corporate sponsor. Part of the company's return to grassroots racing - if that's what you can call factory-backed efforts - the banners of Honda R&D and Honda North America will fly on these entries: a first-gen Acura NSX, an Acura TL SH-AWD, Honda CR-Z, Honda Fit EV, one CRF450R and two CRF250R motorcycles, a CBR1000RR motorcycle and a TRX450 ATV.
One more entry, details of which are to be announced later, will be driven by IndyCar pilot Simon Pagenaud of Schmidt Hamilton HP Motorsports. LoveFab (pictured above during practice last year) will be there with its new, NSX-based Enviate, but as a privateer entry.
Honda's been to the mountain before, with high-powered gear in 2012 and record-setting EVs in 1994 and 1999, but it's never made noise like this. Have a read of the press release below for more info.

Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).
