I have a 89 Honda crx with 161xxx miles. car is in good shape body wise and transmission. engine is not so good it blew the head gasket this week and now the engine is over heating and making a ticking noise. car is not perfect does have small dents on 4 spots the size of a dime to a quarter. car has ebay headers, intake and full exhaust and 17" wheels with cooper times in like new condition, new timing belt, water pump, alt belt and luk clutch all 1 month old. some of the bad include the bad engine, small rock chip on windshield, dent on side of hood, dent on passenger fender and sunroof doesn't want to open and its missing the climate control unit. any questions you can email me and I will answer as good as I can. does not come with carbon fiber hood. it has stock hood back on it at the moment

2014 Honda Odyssey first minivan to earn Top Safety Pick+ award [w/video]
Thu, 29 Aug 2013You know an automaker is confident about the safety of its vehicles when it asks one of the top crash test agencies to destroy one of its newest models. That's exactly what happened with the 2014 Honda Odyssey. According the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Honda requested that the agency run the updated Odyssey through its full barrage of tests, and for good reason.
Aside from slight styling upgrades and a new optional HondaVac built-in vacuum cleaner, the 2014 Odyssey was also given a more rigid passenger compartment using high-strength steel to help better protect occupants. It obviously worked. Following the crash tests, the 2014 Odyssey became the first minivan to earn a Top Safety Pick+ rating, but, more importantly, it did so with "Good" ratings in all five crash categories (four "Goods" and one "Acceptable" are enough for the TSP+). Impressive.

Watch this LSR Honda Insight crash at 190 mph in the desert
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Like any form of motorsports, attempts at breaking land speed records are inherently dangerous. To wit: During a recent speed competition at El Mirage dry lake beds in southern California, racer Brian Gillespie and his first-gen Honda Insight crashed at nearly 190 miles per hour, and it was all caught on video.
According to the Southern California Timing Association website, which hosts the event, the weather was good and there was no wind on November 10, so it isn't clear what may have caused the crash. Despite the car being destroyed (including the entire front end being sheared off), Gillespie suffered only "minor injuries" and is recovering. The SCTA site does state that Gillespie managed to crack the 200-mile-per-hour mark in a previous run with a top speed of 200.9 mph, so congratulations to him on that! McLaren collaborating with Honda future road cars?
Fri, 02 Aug 2013McLaren and Honda may expand their alliance beyond the world of Formula 1, according a report from the UK's Autocar, which quotes McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh.
Citing the multi-year deal, Whitmarsh remarked at last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, "It's a pure Formula 1 contract, but we've already been looking at automotive technology and we're sharing that very openly. Our road car strategy at the moment has no other automotive partner and Honda would be a good place to collaborate."
Still, we wouldn't count on seeing a McLaren-Honda road car in the near future. According to Autocar, McLaren's road-car division is already tied up working on a rival for the Porsche 911, called the P13.
