 Hi,
I have a Very Clean 1989 Honda Crx Si,  I have the Original floor mats, The complete cargo cover, The Seats are Not torn especially the driver seat is in mint condition. The Air Condition works perfect, The Sunroof works perfect. I bought a power windows set off a military guy who lived in Greenland ($500) and had it installed in January last year. I still have the Original window handles also. I installed a DvD player that has Bluetooth. I still have the original cassette player radio that came with it in 1989. I Have a couple of the original sales brochures. I installed a Flowmaster exhaust but I have the original piping. I also installed skunk 2 adjustable coilovers but I still have the original Springs and shocks if desired. I have owned 4 Crx's in 21 years and this car is the best I ever owned. The Paint is 9.5 The Car has been Garaged since 10/2011. According to the guy I bought it off the original owner kept her garage for most of her life. The Car has 73,500 and yes that is not a typo. I have not driven the car much. I bought it to drive to work and save gas but soon after I bought it I landed a new job and received a work truck. So I have put about 500 miles on her in almost 2 years.
Ok here we go in October 2011 i bought it off a guy from the east coast. He went to the DMV and put the wrong mileage on the transfer. I called the DMV and they do not verify the mileage when you change ownership.  So I just want to restate that the car is super clean and the mileage of 73500 is correct. Please e-mail me if you have any questions. This is a special little car that is in immaculate shape.
Thanks for looking!

Honda opening first new motherland plant in almost 50 years

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Despite opening dozens of overseas plants in the past several decades in locations all over the globe, Honda Motor Co. has not expanded its car manufacturing capabilities in its home market of Japan since opening a facility in Sayama back in 1964.
But all of that is set to change this July when Honda opens the doors to a new assembly plant in Yorii, about two hours north of Tokyo. According to Bloomberg, the new facility has a projected annual capacity of 250,000 vehicles. The plant is part of the automaker's reorganization efforts, plans that include scaling back its older Sayama plant and bringing Yorii online with more efficient and innovative technology. There are additional benefits, too, as the Yorii plant is expected to create 3,800 jobs, both on-site and at its suppliers, and boost the local economy as other businesses ramp up to accommodate the influx of new workers.
While the automaker has not released specifics about which models will be produced at Yorii, Honda is expected to consolidate production of models including the Fit, a best-seller in its domestic market.

Honda Fit loses Recommended rating from Consumer Reports

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

Thanks to its poor performance in the most recent round of Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash testing, where it received the lowest overall score in the small-overlap test, Consumer Reports has bumped the Honda Fit from its "Recommended" list. When a car gets bumped from the magazine's coveted ranks, it's usually cause for concern. This is not one of those times.
As there is a new Fit barreling towards dealerships for an on-sale date this spring, we wouldn't pay too much credence to the current car's demotion. It's expected that the next-generation Fit should pass the test with flying colors, as CR is quick to point out that newer Hondas have traditionally done very well in the tricky small-overlap crash testing.
Of the subcompact cars tested by the IIHS, only the Kia Rio, which netted a "Marginal" score overall, is a Consumer Reports "Recommended" vehicle.

Honda Super Cub first vehicle to receive 3D trademark in Japan

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

The term "iconic" gets thrown around a lot, but if there was ever a design worthy of the honorific, surely it's the Honda Super Cub. That's not just our opinion, though: it's the official word from the Japanese Patent Office, which has recognized the classic scooter's shape with a three-dimensional trademark.
The category was introduced in Japan back in 1997 to immortalize distinctive designs, and is subject to very strict criteria. In fact, this marks the first time it has been applied to a vehicle - and one of the few industrial products to be awarded the recognition.
Little wonder it was applied to this little wonder, too. With over 87 million units made since its introduction in 1958, Honda claims the Super Cub to be "the world's largest selling vehicle," with production taking place at 15 factories in 14 countries and sales in 160 markets around the world.
