1991 HONDA CRX Shell  Fresh Paint Mint body

Up for sale is my 1991 Honda crx shell has clean NJ title It was professionally painted and all the body work was professionally done right.  All rust prior to paint was cut out and new metal was welded in place there are no bondo patches you can stick a magnet to any part of the body and it will stick I paid $3500 for the paint job and I was there every day to make sure no short cuts were taken

The Car was a Project for a Honda day trophy but In the last few months I picked up  another EF shell so I figured I could sell my beautiful CRX to fund my K-Series engine build (K series are very expensive) my loss is your gain

- Crx has rear disk conversion
- Will be sold on civic cx wheels

-When I had it painted I had several things deleted by welding

  • Rear Hatch washer fluid sprayer located on roof was deleted
  • Driverside antenna was deleted (close up in one of my pics)
  • Rear hatch wiper blade deleted (picture is after prime before paint one of my pics)
  • Rust was cut out of rocker panel  and rear quarter panels replaced (look brand new from factory)
  • interior was painted , door jams underside of hood underside of hatch

- car comes sitting on name brand suspension

-I have all the auto glass plus duplicates except for wind shield

-Also comes with a truckload of extra parts interior, exterior

-engine bay has light undercoating spray ( figured the engine was going to be in out of the bay a lot so I didn't want it to be nice if I nicked it with a wrench I wanted to be able to cover it right up so it would always be fresh)

I think that's it .....my loss is your gain  any questions or cash offers feel free to text me 570-872-5391

Crx is for sale locally           Please do not waste my time

Cafe racer motorbikes storm Japan

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Japan may be best known, at least among motorcycle enthusiasts, for its sport bikes. But as we found at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are capable of producing all kinds of motorbikes. And to our delight, that includes cafe racers.
Along with the myriad electric bikes, dirt bikes, crotch rockets and scooters, the halls of Tokyo's Big Site convention center this year were full of the retro-infused rides we love. Chief among them was the Bolt (shown above) which Yamaha exhibited alongside their various electric two-wheelers, sporting a delicious metallic blue paintjob, inverted handlebars and hanging mirrors, machined metal bits, blacked-out trim and saddle brown leatherwork.
Honda was also on hand with a new EX version of its '70s-style CB1100 retro roadster in sinister and low-key matte black. And this was our first chance to check out BMW Motorrad's new birthday present to its 90-year-old self, the R NineT, a model recently unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. But one of the most amusing retro rides we came across was the Honda Monkey Limited, a mini bike that makes the new 125cc Grom (which was displayed alongside it) look positively gigantic.

Is Honda working on airbags for smartphones?

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

Smartphones are expensive yet delicate - a single impact on a hard surface can shatter their touchscreens, often damaging them beyond repair. Fitting a case offers only so much protection, but what about an airbag? Honda has explored the concept with the airbag-equipped Case N and even made a video about it. But alas, it isn't real.
For some reason, we really want it to be. Honda has a knack for surprising us with nearly unbelievable inventions designed to improve mankind's quality of life, contraptions like the Walking Assist Device and the UNI-CUB personal mobility devices, so the Case N isn't as far-fetched an idea for the company as you might think.
Head below to watch the video, where you can see the Case N concept in action. You'll also see its generous proportions, which is one reason why it's just a case of Honda humor - not (yet) a market reality.

Honda Gear concept explored at Montreal Auto Show

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

Our friends at Autoblog Canada have just come away with a closer look at Honda's surprise Gear Concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The little three-door hatchback is arguably the automaker's first real shot at the North American city car market (the Gear is much smaller than the Fit) and may be an indication that Honda is getting serious about going after Scion on this side of the world after the CR-Z hybrid failed to deliver. Honda says the Gear Concept takes its inspiration from the fixed-gear bicycle scene, and should allow buyers an unprecedented level of customization. Designers also wanted to show that a car can be both fun and practical.
We're all for a compact stylish three door with functional room inside, but given Honda's propensity for draining the personality from its concepts on the way to production (at least the ones that don't look showroom ready), we don't hold much hope for the Gear. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
