This is a very clean 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4WD. It is black with a tan interior (Tan interior is much harder to find). It has every option offered including Nav, sun roof, rear entertainment (DVD), heated front seats, and it gets great milage (22-24 is my typical all around average). It have newer Michelin tires with lots of rubber left on them. I am only the 2nd owner and bought it from a friend a year ago. He bought it new at the end of 2008 so its inservice date was only 4 years ago. I bought it from him with 69k miles and I have put just over 40k on it in just over a year (almost all highway miles). It has 111k on it now. I am selling it because I am buying a new one (another Yukon Hybrid 4x4 as it is the best GM truck I have owned in over 20 years and they are discontinuing the hybrid for the new body style this year - another GM bad decision, remember the EV1?). It is 4 wheel drive which is harder to find but comes in very handy and does not reduce the mileage at all. I have taken great care of it and have no kids and it has never been smoked in. The leather is in great condition! The white lettering on the rear window is vinyl so I will remove it prior to the sale. I am a FL resident so I have a FL plate on it. It is personalized so I will keep it for my next truck. I am visiting CA right now so the truck will be available for pickup in Orange County. I am also open to delivering it to you for an additional fee, depending on how far you are from 92646. Please contact me prior to choosing BIN or submitting a bid to discuss delivery arrangements, if this is an option that interests you. Please contact me with any questions.

2015 Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon airbag problem causes recall

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

The recall affects 2,432 vehicles, though only 138 had actually reached consumers.
General Motors quickly fixed an airbag-wiring problem with the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, but is still conducting a small recall to repair the midsize trucks that are launching this fall.

GMC to get own model not shared with Chevy?

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

For years, GMC has existed as a brand without a single unique product, reconstituting Chevrolet trucks, SUVs and crossovers with more frosting in exchange for a few extra dollars. The Sierra is a Silverado, the Acadia a Traverse, and the Terrain an Equinox, although admittedly the latter pair are visually differentiated to a significant degree.
GMC could be set to expand beyond its Chevy-based roots, though. During last week's Detroit Auto Show press days, GM's product boss Mark Reuss was asked whether there'd ever be a GMC that wasn't taken from Chevy. "Oh, yes, you will," Reuss told the media. "The health of GMC is astonishingly good from a consideration standpoint." Reuss wouldn't elaborate on what the model could be, although we're quite happy to make some guesses. GMC has its bases fairly well covered, with a mid-size and full-size crossover, as well as a mid-size, full-size and HD pickup. We doubt GMC will be building a family sedan, sports car, or hatchback, so really, the only place we can see the brand going is into a smaller crossover.
Automotive News points out that the most recent small GMC showcar, the 2010 Granite concept (shown above), won't see production according to General Motors. That vehicle likely would have rode on GM's compact vehicle architecture, known internally as Gamma II, which underpins the Chevy Spark and Sonic, as well as the Buick Encore (and its overseas Opel/Vauxhall/Chevy counterparts).

2015 Chevy Colorado to start at $20,100*, GMC Canyon at $20,995**

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

General Motors has just announced pricing for its new midsize pickup trucks, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Chevy's truck starts at $20,100, *not including $895 for destination, and the GMC starts at $20,995, **not including $925 for destination. These prices are for the base, extended cab models with the 200-horsepower, 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine.
Comparatively, these prices fit nicely with the $18,125 starting MSRP of the Toyota Tacoma and the $21,510 of the Nissan Frontier. Compared to the Colorado, the Canyon's extra $895 gets you niceties like LED running lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a four-way power driver's seat.
Both trucks come standard with the 2.5-liter engine, and a more powerful, 305-hp 3.6-liter V6 will also be available. Pricing has not been announced for the upcoming diesel model, which is expected to launch for the 2016 model year.
