Folks,

Up for sale is a very "cool" looking and riding Jet Black 2005 Yukon Denali with custom bumper guards.  I am the second owner and have taken very good care of this vehicle.  It receives compliments all the time - especially in Texas.  The reason for the Salvage Title, as I was told by the person I purchased the vehicle from - is because the vehicle was stolen and was involved in a minor accident.  When I received the vehicle, my mechanic confirmed that all the internal engine parts and components were original.  This Denali runs in excellent condition, has massive power and enormous towing capabilities.  It rides very smooth and handles well. Very comfortable ride with captain chairs for both driver and passenger.  Amazing sound system with Bose speakers, etc...the list goes on and on...

It basically drives the same as when I purchased it in 2008 with approx. 35,000 miles on the odometer.

It does have some nicks here and there, which is expected for a vehicle this age.  It also has an issue with the airbag sensor.  My mechanic looked at it and said the sensor behind the front bumper needs to be replaced. I would do it myself but it would involve taking off the front bumper guard, which is massive.  There is also an issue with the speedometer which works intermittently.  All other gauges work fine. I also have noticed that the suspension control message comes on sometimes indicating its most likely time for new shock absorbers.  However, my mechanic said that as long as it continues to ride okay, there is no need to spend the money replacing them.  Battery is brand new from NTB and has approx 88 months remaining on warranty (transferable).

This is an awesome vehicle with low-miles for its age and for a SUV that once sold for $50,000+ - it's offered at a great price.

Buyer is responsible for coordinating and paying transportation cost.  Upon receiving a $500.00 deposit within 48 hours, I will discuss transfer arrangements and/or various purchasing issues, inspection requests.  Cash or verifiable cashiers check only.  Deposit can be made via Pay Pal.

GMC to get own model not shared with Chevy?

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

For years, GMC has existed as a brand without a single unique product, reconstituting Chevrolet trucks, SUVs and crossovers with more frosting in exchange for a few extra dollars. The Sierra is a Silverado, the Acadia a Traverse, and the Terrain an Equinox, although admittedly the latter pair are visually differentiated to a significant degree.
GMC could be set to expand beyond its Chevy-based roots, though. During last week's Detroit Auto Show press days, GM's product boss Mark Reuss was asked whether there'd ever be a GMC that wasn't taken from Chevy. "Oh, yes, you will," Reuss told the media. "The health of GMC is astonishingly good from a consideration standpoint." Reuss wouldn't elaborate on what the model could be, although we're quite happy to make some guesses. GMC has its bases fairly well covered, with a mid-size and full-size crossover, as well as a mid-size, full-size and HD pickup. We doubt GMC will be building a family sedan, sports car, or hatchback, so really, the only place we can see the brand going is into a smaller crossover.
Automotive News points out that the most recent small GMC showcar, the 2010 Granite concept (shown above), won't see production according to General Motors. That vehicle likely would have rode on GM's compact vehicle architecture, known internally as Gamma II, which underpins the Chevy Spark and Sonic, as well as the Buick Encore (and its overseas Opel/Vauxhall/Chevy counterparts).

Next GMC Sierra Denali accidentally leaked on consumer site

Fri, 03 May 2013

Thanks to the quick-to-screen-shot folks at GM Authority, we now have our first look at what is likely the 2014-15 GMC Sierra Denali. GMA reports that the image you see here was temporarily posted on the GMC consumer site, though as you can see now, when you scroll over the "trucks" tab, the image has been removed.
GM Authority states that because the truck in this image wears a blacked-out lower bumper, redesigned grille insert and shiny wheels, this has got to be the upmarket Denali version of the fully redesigned 2014 model year Sierra. The Chevrolet Silverado will be getting a similar treatment, as we've seen in recent spy shots, dubbed the High Country.
Expect the Sierra Denali to ride on large, unique wheels (the one we spied earlier this year was fitted with 21-inch rollers), and feature a huge helping of luxurious interior amenities, as well as premium features like xenon headlamps. An official on-sale date for the Denali has not been released, though it's been reported that the high-grade Sierra, along with its Silverado counterpart, will arrive after the Texas State Fair this summer.

GM to unveil new SUVs at the State Fair of Texas?

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

With General Motors just having rolled out its new fullsize truck twins - the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra - for 2014, now it seems to be time to focus on its big SUVs. The Truth About Cars is reporting that the 2015 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban and 2015 GMC Yukon lineup will be making their debuts later next month at the State Fair of Texas, which kicks off on September 27.
To date, we've only seen spy shots of the new Chevy and GMC SUVs (shown above in Yukon XL guise). Based on those spies both trucks seem to be taking a different styling direction than their pickup truck counterparts - just check out the Ford-looking headlight design on the next-gen Chevys.
We reached out to GM for comment and heard back simply that there is no official announcement about the new Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon. Still, the report definitely makes a solid leap of logic, as Texas is a top market for GM's fullsize SUV lineup. It also appears that GM is still planning a separate launch for the next-gen Cadillac Escalade.
