A Really Great truck
Low mileage, only 127,230
5.7 liter (350) engine, [Not 6.0] 3/4 ton, Crew Cab, Short Bed
The very last of the old style production;
GM began the new look for the 2500 series in 2000, but there were still a few of the old style made.
White (Ext), Blue (Int), Leather (vinyl) Seats, GM floor-mats, tape and CD - factory radio
Everything works well: 4x4, dash, windows, lights, tailgate, and all the little hinges inside, (check pics).
Decent life left on the All-Terrain tires, and a spare underneath.
K/N Air Filter
Rubber Mat in bed (instead of the plastic bedliner that rusts out beds)
Diamond-plate: inside front of bed box, inside of tailgate, and bed rails
Although you can see a little rust beginning on the underside, (check pics)
it is solid, runs excellent and drives smoothly.
It was taken care of and maintenanced regularly!
I tried accurately show all the outer body damage: some paint flaking off, a dent, rust, broken grill, etc.
The pictured wheel is the worst one of the 4, note the corrosion.
If you have questions or want to see additional pictures, just ask (:
PS: The magnet on my car is available at no extra charge - you can put it on your new tailgate for free!

While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
Tue, 15 Jul 2014 17:33:00 EST
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
Fans of truck-based, light-duty vans can officially pour one out for the Chevrolet Express 1500 and GMC Savana 1500, as General Motors has officially put its long-serving big/little rigs out to pasture. Things aren't quite as sad as they sound, though. The heavier-duty 2500 and 3500 vans will soldier on, in order to duke it out with the largest members of Ram ProMaster, Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter families.

The move does seem to make a lot of sense. According to GM, customers only purchase the 1500-spec Chevrolet 23 percent of the time, while the GMC captures a mere 7 percent of the Savana family's sales. With numbers like that, it's no shock that GM thinks it can shift some of its buyers into its van family's more capable variants. "We knew we could move a lot of our 1500 customers into 2500-series territory," said GM's Joe Langhauser, the product manager for the company's full-size vans.
It's not just simple sales figures dictating the move, though. The 1500 line is taking up some valuable factory space that will be better spent on an eagerly anticipated new product.
General Motors is just coming off a complete redesign of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra for 2014, but in the US fullsize truck market, there is no rest for the weary. According to Reuters, plans are already unfurling for both trucks to drop pounds from their curb weight over the next few years, but this will unlikely be able to keep pace with the 700-pound diet targeted for the next-generation Ford F-150, a truck expected to debut late next year.
The biggest weight reduction for these trucks might not be available until the next full redesign, which will likely happen around 2019, but the article says that smaller updates could shave pounds in the meantime. Two examples given include an "aluminum-intensive" version of the Silverado that could shed 250 pounds and debut around the same time as the lighter-weight, aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford, and there is also talk of reducing weight for driveline components such as axles and driveshafts. These changes are all part of an attempt to meet strict new fuel economy standards coming in 2017, targets which will get even tougher in 2025.
