Metalic Black 2010 Gmc Sierra 6.2 Litre Lifted 10 Inches 35 Inch Tires on 2040-cars
La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States
Im selling my 2010 GMC Sierra 1500. I bought it with 38000 miles on it. I am the second owner. The truck has somewhere around 48XXX miles on it and is changing because I still drive it. I have owned the truck a year. As soon as I got it I had a 7 inch Mc Gaughys suspension lift installed along with a 3 inch body lift and 35 inch tires. It has a 6 speed auto trans. The tires are nitto trail grapplers 35x12.5x20. It has aftermarket black 20 inch rims. As soon as I got it I took it to a dealership and had them buff and polish the outside and shampoo and vacuum the inside of the truck. It gets around 15 mpg due to the 6.2 litre engine being able to turn the tires easier than a 5.3 litre. I have never took the truck mudding. I parked it in November before there was salt on the roads and brought it back out in the spring to keep it looking nice. It has metallic black paint so it really shines when the sun hits it. The engine compartment is super clean. The truck does not knock or leak any fluids. The tranny shifts smooth. It has built in garage door opener buttons, trailer brakes, remote start, and has adjustable petals. It has an aftermarket sound system with 2 ten inch subs under the back seat which takes up no room for passengers feet. Its not a denali so it has the bench seat up front with a fold down center council. It has the knob on the dash to choose 2 wheel drive or 4 high or 4 low or auto. The set up of this truck is very hard to find with the 6.2 litre. It has 403 hp with 413 foot pounds of torque so it pushes the 35s really nice. I'm selling it to use the money for a down payment on a house. I have had no problems with this truck and have turned a ton of heads. This is a one of a kind truck and you will be lucky to find another like it. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with shipping vehicles so local pickup only. The truck is in La Crosse, WI. Thanks a lot for looking. Any more questions feel free to ask.

GM considering new powertrain options for large SUVs
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Aside from the new General Motors offerings, there's not a whole lot of action going on in the fullsize SUV segment. That doesn't seem to be stopping GM from pushing the envelope in the market as Automotive News is reporting that the automaker is looking to introduce some new powertrain options into the Chevy Tahoe (and Suburban), GMC Yukon (and Yukon XL) and the Cadillac Escalade - all have been redesigned for the 2015 model year.
Now, we already know that GM and Ford are collaborating on nine- and ten-speed transmissions for a broad range of applications (including the big SUVs), but this new report says that GM is also considering other options as a way to one-up the competition and, of course, to optimize fuel economy. AN quotes Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer for GM trucks, as saying that "interesting powertrain technologies" are coming including a return of a hybrid SUV and possibly even a diesel engine. Although it sounds like the latter could come down to how customers respond to the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel.
2014 GMC Sierra
Wed, 12 Jun 2013Is the Best GMC Truck Ever Made Good Enough?
We've got a bright aluminum Airstream camper hitched to our rear bumper as we head up Southern California's coast because GMC says that 60 percent of all full-size pickup owners will use their trucks for towing.
Rather than forcing us to absorb its capabilities in a long-winded PowerPoint presentation, the automaker brought us to Los Angeles and handed us the keys to its all-new 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. After jumping behind the wheel of a 5.3-liter V8 model, we drove up the foggy Malibu coast (locals call the soggy early-summer weather "June Gloom") and made our way to the Camarillo Airport for a towing refresher. Once completed, a brand-new 23-foot Airstream was hitched to our aft end and we were pointed towards a campground just west of Santa Barbara.
GM dealers have ordered 30k Colorado and Canyon pickups, 3rd shift added
Wed, 17 Sep 2014General Motors has an early success on its hands in the form of the initial rollout of the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize pickup trucks. According to the automaker, dealers have ordered nearly 30,000 of the trucks thus far, a number that far exceeded GM's early expectations.
This high demand for the Colorado and Canyon twins has prompted GM to add a third shift to its Wentzville Assembly plant where the trucks are built, starting early next year. An extra shift will add an additional 750 jobs at the location to the 1,315 that were already employed there, according to the press release that you're welcome to read down below.
Such positive sales projections for the Canyon and Colorado may portend good things for the midsize pickup segment, which was once hugely popular but has more recently contracted, with the Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma standing firm as the market leaders. Now that GM's entries are the most up-to-date, and with the segment's first diesel engine on the way, it will be interesting to see how the trucks continue to sell and if their hopeful success leads more automakers back onto the playing field.
