Up for sale is a 1998 GMC Jimmy. It has 4 wheel drive and runs good. It has V6 and high output engine. 4.3 Liter. Automatic Transmission. SLT Accessory package. Roof rack. Privacy Glass and Alloy Wheels. I have had it for a few months and it has been dependable. I drive it daily and haven't broke down. It has normal wear and tear for a vehicle of its age. The tires are in good shape and have plenty of tread left. The 4 wheel drive works good. It has a new battery on it. It doesn't leak any fluids.
As far as I know it needs a tail pipe and muffler, shocks, and the gas gauge fixed. The driver seat is torn. There are scratches and dings on the outside of the vehicle. It needs weatherstripping on the drivers side door. It also needs an automatic window motor for the drivers side window. It quit working the other day but all three of the other windows still work. I don't know of any other problems with it. I accept payment through paypal, money orders, or cash if it is picked up. No checks. I can ship for an additional fee. OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.

New J.D. Power Initial Quality Study puts Porsche, GM in spotlight
Wed, 19 Jun 2013J.D. Power and Associates has released its annual Initial Quality Study, and this year, Porsche and General Motors took the spotlight. The study, which asks new car owners to report problems experienced during the first 90 days of ownership, found that overall, the industry averages 113 problems per 100 vehicles.
Porsche managed a score of just 80 problems per 100 vehicles, while GMC took the second spot on the podium with 90. Lexus filled out the top three with 94 problems per 100 vehicles, followed by Infiniti at 95 and Chevrolet at 97. The study also looks at specific models, and found the Lexus LS to enjoy the best initial quality at 59 problems per 100 vehicles.
Interestingly enough, the report found that around two-thirds of most owner problems experienced in the first 90 days are attributable to vehicle design instead of mechanical failure. Specifically - echoing a refrain we've been hearing for the last few years - owners are having a hard time figuring out how to use the technology present in their new vehicles. Head over to the J.D. Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
