Selling a 1995 Ford Windstar GL. It has 220,000 miles.
Aluminum alloy wheels, AM/FM Cassette radio, Air Conditioning(needs Freon), tilt wheel, rear heat and air, cruise control, front bucket seats, a total of seven passenger seating, power steering/ABS brakes. Power windows and door locks. Roof rack with adjustable support bars. Runs good and is well maintained. Since purchasing with 115,000 miles the oil was changed every 3000 miles or sooner. Some rust and minor scratches. Recent Goodyear Comfort Tread tires, New Starter, New rear shocks, New serpentine Belt, New power steering hose, all wheel bearings have been recently replaced. New drivers side Strut, New lower control arm and ball joint on the on the passenger side front, Alternator just passed a quality check. The battery is 3-4 years old. Brakes are in good shape, The automatic transmission was replaced at 155,000 miles. Many other items replaced over the years. Dependable Van!! This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid. 2015 Ford Mustang already under recall, but just 53 units
Sun, 19 Oct 2014Ford has issued a small - but significant - recall for one of its spotlight cars: the 2015 Mustang.
The recall affects just 53 cars, with 50 in the United States and three in Canada. Ford said the passenger side safety belt buckle tension sensor may not have been calibrated properly by the supplier. This could lead to "misclassification" of the passenger seat occupant, and could cause the airbag to deploy improperly.
A Ford spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement, the automaker said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries, and dealers will replace the buckle assembly at no cost to customers. The cars affected were built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan from Aug. 18 to Oct. 2.
