2008 Ford Taurus Limited on 2040-cars
De Pere, Wisconsin, United States
5 star crash test rating with dual front airbags and side airbags. Power windows, power locks, dual power seats, and HEATED LEATHER seats! Also equipped with Microsoft Sync! Still have original manuals and code for driver’s side door. Also comes equipped with traction control, cruise control, 6 CD changer, USB port inside the center console, premium rims, and Michelin tires. I currently average 25mpg. Leather seats have been cleaned and conditioned every 6 months, carpeting is black so there are no stains, is always parked in a garage at night, never had any pets or smoking in the car, and any work performed has been at a Ford dealer. There are two scuffs on the front bumper cover from rubbing up against the garage, but they could be buffed out, otherwise I had a new one priced out at $150.00. Comes with two original Ford Keys/fabs. Priced to sell. Any questions, just ask! ****BUYER IS REPSONSIBLE FOR ANY TRANSPORTATION COSTS. However, if you need help finding a way to transport the vehicle, I work for an over the road trucking company that covers the entire U.S. and Canada, and can get you a quote to have it delivered to you.*** |

Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey
Fri, 01 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively. You can read the full press release below for more information, or head over to the Consumer Reports site.
Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.
