Offered For Sale at No Reserve by TED DAVIS & SON REBUILDABLES LLC.  (Ted & Seth Davis)

We specialize in clean late model Repairables.

Some Banks will not finance vehicles with Salvage or Rebuilt Titles so please have your funds ready before bidding.

This one has a Salvage Title so it will require an inspection by your state's DMV after repairs are made to be registered again for the highway.

We require a $500 Paypal deposit within 48 hours and paid in full within 10 days after auction ends.

Also check out others we may have For Sale at this time by clicking on see other items at the top of this page. If that link does not work, go to our feedback and click on Items For Sale.

Here we have a great little pickup project. It is a 2011 FORD RANGER SUPERCAB 4X2 with the base pkg and not many options except automatic trans and A/C.

It is damaged on the left front. It has some left frame rail damage. (see picture) The frame is bent in about 2 inches where the lower control arm mounts. We started to fix the truck but had no way of pulling this section out without a frame machine. We had already brought used suspension parts for it so we decided to weld a makeshift bracket (see picture) onto the frame so the lower control arm bolt could be installed and the truck could lot drive and be loaded onto a trailer or tow dolly easier.

NOTE: This is not a permanent fix and the truck is not safe for the road. We simply did this to make the truck drive and move around on it's own power. It will still need the frame repaired properly to be safe for the highway again.

The other parts it needs are the left front fender, front bumper, left head light, head light mounting panel, splash apron, left door edge and hood repairs, inner apron repairs, and the right door repaired. We also used the spare tire and rim on it so that will need replaced. The other 3 tires look almost new with great tread. All in all this is a pretty simple fix if you can pull the frame.

These are great little trucks for company use or parts chasing. They get decent fuel mileage and are very reliable. It is a shame Ford quit making them. We have seen these later model Rangers go over 300K with no problem.

This one has been used as a truck and as you can see they spilled some paint in the bed and it is a little dirty. We didn't do much to clean it up since we figured the next customer will probably use it for a work truck as well.

The pictures should show it well and we always describe exactly what we know but sometimes it is hard to see everything on a wrecked vehicle so if you have any questions, please give us a call at 304-567-2999 or e-mail us on the listing. Also you are more than welcome to come inspect it in person or have an outside source do it for you.

Thanks for looking at our listing and Good Luck bidding. Sincerely, Ted & Seth Davis

Ford to announce Mulally retirement, Fields CEO as early as May 1

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Ford CEO Alan Mulally may be about to announce his long-rumored retirement from the Blue Oval, according to a pair of insiders who spoke to Bloomberg. An official statement on the succession could arrive as soon as May 1. Chief Operating Officer Mark Fields is rumored to step up as the new CEO. The company is said to be readying the announcement soon to ensure an orderly transition of power, according to the insiders.
Mulally's retirement from Ford has been a hot topic for a while. He was seriously rumored last year to be leaving the automaker to take over as the CEO of Microsoft. The board even said at one point that it was okay with them if he stepped down early. However, the CEO maintained he would stay with the business through at least the end of 2014. Fields has been rumored as a frontrunner to take over the top spot at the company since he was promoted to COO.
For the moment, Ford isn't officially confirming any of these plans. "We don't comment on speculation. We do have succession plans in place for our key leadership. We take succession planning very seriously," said Susan Krusel, Ford Global News Manager, to Autoblog.

Chris Harris pits Fiesta ST against Mercedes G63 AMG in 0-60 battle... sort of

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Vehicle performance tests are serious business, with reputations made or broken by things like braking distance, top speed, and lateral g-forces. King of the metrics, though, is the 0-60 run, which for unknown reasons has become the benchmark for what truly makes a car a performance machine.
Now, Chris Harris from Drive has turned the whole idea behind the sprint to 60 on its ear. Taking a new Ford Fiesta ST, Harris asks a simple question: would the ST be quicker to 60 on its own, or on a trailer being towed by a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG?
It's a fair question, really. The Fiesta Harris tested hit 60 in 7.2 seconds on a slightly uphill section of runway. It should be noted that Harris quotes his ST at 182 horsepower, which is about 15 ponies less than what we're getting in the US, so these numbers might not hold up all that well against an American model. The G63 AMG, meanwhile, is a 536-horsepower monster, powered by a twin-turbo V8 that, able to propel the big SUV to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds without towing a Fiesta.

Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

This year's annual Eyes on Design awards were presented at the end of press days for the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday. Given out for the best production and concept car designs that debuted at the show, and voted on by an esteemed panel of actual car designers, this year's award for best production vehicle design went to the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, which was the show favorite among Autoblog editors, apparently did not impress the Eyes on Design judges enough with its all-new vent-festooned design.
The award for best concept design was actually split as a tie among the Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas concepts. Last year's winners were the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept.
The Eyes on Design organization also presented a new honor this year called the Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense of design in his acceptance speech, arguing that advancements in quality across the industry as a whole have made good design a key differentiator for buyers.
