TRUCK has new tires , exhaust , brake shoes , clutch , shifter , just put a 1975 f 100 manual trans in the truck .New front bumper. Seat cover . truck runs good. truck could use new coil springs in front someone heated them to lower truck. truck is still fun to drive.get lots of thumbs ups.please feel free to ask questions. truck has been in the Carolinas all its life.thats what I was told.truck will need to be picked up a week after sale.a 500 dollar deposit needed 48 hours after sale.i will not ship the truck or bring the truck to buyer.please bring cash to pick up the truck.please rember this is a rat rod .The truck is not perfect.there are defects everywhere that what makes the truck cool.so there are dents and rust.but the truck is solid.my number is 8283202968.so if you have questions you may call.thanks..

Ford to pay $17.35 million over Escape recall
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Ford had a bit of a recall spree around this time last year, with a pair of issues on the then-new 2013 Escape, followed by a recall of 423,000 2001 to 2004 Escapes because they might accelerate of their own accord. Accordingly, Uncle Sam pasted Ford with a $17.35 million fine because it took too long to inform customers, according to a report from Automotive News.
Ford agreed to settle with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, accepting the fine but not admitting fault. The recall, which afflicted Escapes with the 3.0-liter V-6 along with 217,000 Mazda Tributes from 2001 to 2006 and 2008, was due to faulty gas pedals that could stay down after a driver removed their foot.
Ford issued a statement regarding the fine, saying, "We take the safety of our customers seriously and continuously evaluate our processes for improvements. While we are confident in our current processes for quickly identifying and addressing potential vehicle issues, Ford agreed to this settlement to avoid a lengthy dispute with the government."
Ford gets its Movement on, releases 'Sounds of Focus' tracks
Sun, 25 May 2014Ford has, for at least the second year in a row, teamed up with techno promoter Paxahau and a couple of artists to make music in recognition of the Detroit Movement music festival. This time, Movement performers Ataxia and Secrets were selected by Ford, and were invited to spend some time at the automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant, which gives birth to the Ford Focus and Focus Electric models.
Now that we know the what, how about the why? According to Ford, "Detroit is uniquely tied to the origins of the electronic music scene. In the 1980's variations of electronic music stemmed from inspirations of industry, including the automotive sector." So, there you go.
