Also, the horn does not work. The power controls for the mirrors work some. It does have a small dent on the right rear from a baseball."

It is going to hurt me to sell this truck.  This is a great truck in excellent condition.  I bought this vehicle from Savannah Mitsubishi, and it was the answer to my prayers.  I bought a car before this one that left me on the side of the road many times.  But this truck has never let me down. The only thing I have had to replace on this truck is the battery and the tires.  That means it has new tires on it, and I even have an extra tire that goes along with it just for a backup.   I bought the extended warranty because I wanted to make sure it would last me a long time.  This truck was only driven to work and back five days a week, so I did not put many miles on it at all.   Three months ago, I changed jobs and they gave me a company truck. So, I no longer need this truck anymore.  I hate to get rid of it, but I also don't want it just sitting in my driveway.  I am still making payments on it as well, so I can't give this truck away.

This truck has everything that you could possibly need in a truck.  This is actually my second Ford Ranger because I absolutely love them.  These trucks are dependable and always perfect for the job.  This one has the coldest air conditioner that you will find.  It will actually freeze you.  It also has 4 doors and has two seats in the back, so the truck will actually seat 5.  My boys love the back seats and begged me not to sell this truck.  It also has very low mileage.  This is a 2002 well taken care of Ford Ranger with only 78,051 miles on it.  You could not ask for better mileage that that.  It even has a tow package with a ball already on the back.  And it has no problem at all pulling a trailer.  It is a very powerful truck.  One of the other perks is that it gets great gas mileage.  I never checked it exactly, but I know it gets more than 20 miles per gallon.  The truck has been maintained properly and has had regular oil changes.  It even has a hard bed liner in the back of it.  It does not have a tool box, but you could install one very easily if you want.  It even has side steps that give it an awesome look.

This truck even has keyless entry.  It also has a great radio with CD player that you can jam to while going down the road.  If you have any other questions, please let me know.  I am sure that I didn't cover everything.  I am taking offers, so make an offer and see what happens.

I am located near Savannah, GA, and I can help out if you are out of town and want to buy this vehicle.

Shelby GT500 laps N"urburgring in under 7:40?

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

A couple of weeks ago we brought you footage and official times of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 lapping the Nürburgring. With a 7:37.47 lap time, the Z/28 emerged as the fastest muscle car ever to lap the circuit. But what was missing from that picture was how fast the king of all Mustangs, the Shelby GT500, could manage to lap the Nordschleife.
Ford never released any information or footage of the GT500 on the Nürburgring that we were aware of - that is, until the guys at SVTPerformance.com put in a request for Mustang videos. Among the clips they received was never-seen, in-car footage of the Shelby GT500 lapping the circuit. And boy did it hustle.
Although not quite official, the video seems to show the GT500 lapped the venerated German track in a touch under 7:40. That would make it a tick or two faster than the Camaro ZL1 - but what of the Z/28? By Chevy's quoted time, the Z/28 is still faster than the GT500, but SVTPerformance suggests GM may have fudged the numbers a bit and scrubbed half a second or so off their lap time.

Enterprise customer billed $47k for Mustang stolen from rental lot

Sun, 05 Jan 2014

A weekend rental of a Ford Mustang GT Convertible sounds like a nice, relaxing way to burn some gas, but one Nova Scotia woman's two-day rental is turning into a months-long headache. In early October, Kristen Cockerill picked up the Mustang from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and she returned it the following day as stipulated by the rental contract. Unfortunately, she dropped the car off on a Sunday - a day on which the particular Enterprise office is closed - and the car ended up being stolen overnight.
Now, two months later, CBC reports that Cockerill received a bill from Enterprise for the full replacement of the car totaling $47,271 (a base 2014 Mustang GT Convertible currently costs $40,349 in Canada). As it turns out, the fine print in the contract says that the renter is responsible for cars dropped off after hours until it can be inspected the next business day - this is also reflected on the key drop seen in the news report video, which states "vehicles returned after hours are the responsibility of the renter until inspected on the next business day."
It's not clear how much, if any, of that amount Cockerhill will be responsible for once her insurance company gets involved, but if the insurance company refuses to pay, Enterprise will bill the amount to the credit card she provided during her rental. While this ordeal is far over for Cockerhill, it's a good reminder for the rest of us to always read the fine print.

Amid Mulally rumors, Bill Ford praises company's deep bench

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Bill Ford went on the offensive to combat the rumors that CEO Alan Mulally would leave Dearborn for Steve Ballmer's vacated position leading Microsoft, adding that even if the 68-year-old, former Boeing exec were to depart, the Ford executive team is in a good place.
"I'm happy [Mulally] is going to stick around. But we also feel really good about where we are in terms of succession," Ford told Bloomberg TV, according to Automotive News. Rumors first cropped up about Mulally leaving Ford when AllThingsD speculated that he was in the running, early last month. In that same report, which you can read here, Ford's board of directors reportedly okayed the CEO stepping down ahead of his planned retirement in 2014.
That opened the floodgates, culminating in a report from a few days ago that the rumors over Ballmer's successor just might be true. The story is especially troubling, as Ford hasn't had Mulally under contract, according to AN. "He's here as long as he and I would like it to happen," Ford said, "We're also cognizant of training the next generation and getting them ready to go as well."
