I am selling my 1999 Ford F550. I bought this to haul my 2 gooseneck trailers. i have only used it to haul them twice before I sold them. I bought a F550 as a F350 comes up short when it comes to towing. This one has got BIG brakes, heavy Duty frame, 4.88 gears & 19.5" wheels. Everything about Ford' F550 screams "Built Ford Tough". Powered by the only diesel engine you want in a Ford truck, the reliability proven 7.3 Powerstroke.
Full 4 door Crew cab & a Quality built steel flatbed with a gooseneck hitch mean you and your crew will show up for work towing whatever you need to get the job done. A great truck for welders, hot shot hauling, farm & ranch or pulling that big 5th wheel.
Only 115k miles. I bought this truck after looking for 6 months. Most F550 with the 7.3 have a million miles on it. This truck's previous owner had a horse farm in Florida and she used it to tow a gooseneck horse trailer to the shows.Tires are excellent, the front end is tight and the brakes on all 4 corners are in very good condition. I just spent $5,000 in the past 500 miles on a new Turbo, new injectors, new glowplugs and a new waterpump. I don't half ass repairs on my vehicles.
New Kenwood stereo with bluetooth/USB connector on front, external Mic for phone calls and all Kenwood speakers replacing OEM components. Over $500 spent on this upgrade.
The truck has some scratches, dings and some worn paint on the roof. After all, its 14 years old. But it has been taken care of. Automatic transmission which does make some noise going into overdrive. My transmission guy was going to fix it but the truck is too heavy for his lift. He told me that it is a bearing in the overdrive.
I would hate to think what this truck would cost new. The new engines don't compare to the 7.3 with all their problems.
Truck flatbed is 9 ft long with removable side plates. I have pics of them on and off. Aux gas tank in the bed is 100 gallons. 2 5/16 gooseneck ball under trap door in bed. Nice clean setup.
I hate to sell this truck but cannot justify to keep it with no large trailers anymore.
My credit union has the title as I still have a loan on it. After payment is received, i should have it in 7-10 days.
I will work with your shippers, but will not deliver.
$250 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours. Remaining balance via bank wire to my credit union. Full payment within 7 days.
Bidders with less than 5 positive feedbacks, please contact me or I will cancel your bids. It costs too much to list a vehicle to have people playing around.

2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.
Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.
Ford 1.0L EcoBoost 3-Cylinder: Autoblog Technology of the Year award finalist
Wed, 19 Nov 2014As the old saying goes, "There's no replacement for displacement." But these days, many automakers are launching powerful, downsized engines that offer similar or better power output than their predecessors, all while offering improvements in fuel economy and emissions. These days, we're seeing automakers replacing eight-cylinder engines with turbocharged sixes, and the naturally aspirated six-cylinder motors are being phased out in favor of potent turbo fours. But Ford has gone even smaller, offering a three-cylinder, turbocharged engine with one single liter of displacement.
Sure, three-cylinder engines aren't anything new - they've been offered around the globe for ages. But Ford's EcoBoost 1.0L powerplant is perhaps the best application the Autoblog team has tested. Gone are the triple-cylinder complaints of yore - this engine doesn't sound anemic or buzzy, and there's healthy power output on tap. In fact, compared to the 1.6-liter inline-four that Ford also offers in the Fiesta, the 1.0-liter is more powerful, while boasting an impressive 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
This engine has already received numerous accolades, including winning the International Engine of the Year award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The 1.0L EcoBoost will be available in the refreshed 2015 Ford Focus here in the US.
