This is an all steel 1936 Ford pickup titled as a 1936, body properly mounted on a 1989 Ford Ranger 2WD chassis. It has a good running 2.3 with an automatic trans power steering and power brakes. This setup makes this truck pretty reliable, good on gas and pretty easy to drive. It is a daily driver right now but could use a lot of finishing touches. Here's what it has. Working lights, working rear blinkers, and working rear flashers. It has a heater in it and I drive it in the winter on dry road days. Working speedo, fuel guage and temp, alt. guages. Recored flat head radiator. New exhaust, new timing belt, decent tires and decent brakes. It needs front blinkers, windshield wipers, front bumper installed, (I have it) headliner and interior trim to name a few things. I have the hood side cover for the driver side but the brake booster and power steering pump is in the way and would need to be moved. It's really about personal taste. I like it the way it is. I haven't washed it in two years because I like the just came out of a field look. It's just a cool old truck. The windows roll up and down and it has a sliding rear window. The front window has a crack but it's in my wifes line of vision not mine so it stays. It still needs some body work on one rear fender but the truck itself is pretty solid and very near ready to paint if desired but I've always felt it looks way to nice to mess up with shiny paint. It comes with a box of parts like all new door and window rubber, chrome trim pieces and other stuff specific to this truck. If you can't complete the sale please don't bid to much on it. If you really like it and want it bid alot and we'll work out the details. I'm not someone that's going to make all kinds of demands like: ASK YOUR WIFE FIRST!!!!! DEPOSIT WITHIN 3 SECONDS OF AUCTION END!!!!! AAAHHH!!! If you want the truck I'm sure we'll make it happen. Ask questions I'll answer quickly and honestly. I'm bidding on a car I have always wanted or I wouldn't even sell my truck. It is for sale locally so I might end the auction early if it sells locally. Thanks for looking.

Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City
Thu, 02 May 2013Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.

Ford won't be releasing GT500 lap times for the 'Ring, or any other car
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Trucks have towing capacity, EVs have driving range and performance cars have Nürburgring lap times. What do all three have in common? They should all be taken with a grain of salt. Currently, there is no sanctioned way to record lap times or verify production-spec cars - a lesson we recently learned with the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo - and until there is a way to do so (and there probably never will be), we'll never officially know the actual time it took for Ford to lap the 'Ring with its ultra-powerful Shelby GT500.
After posting a Ford-made video of a 2013 GT500 running around the 'Ring, the guys over at SVTPerformance.com (an enthusiasts forum not affiliated with Ford or SVT) wanted more answers. They got in touch with Ford's Global Performance Vehicle Chief Engineer Jamal Hameedi, who said until there is a way to verify the times and inspect the cars, Ford will not get involved with lap-time wars. In the email, Hameedi pointed out that the 'Ring is a useful tool in that it allows a wide spectrum of track conditions, but until there is a governed way to record times, there is no way to accurately compare cars head-to-head.
And as much as some may not like it, Hameedi speaks the truth. It really isn't possible to compare times from one car to another, unless those cars were lapping the same track at the same time with the same driver. Not that any of this means there won't be continuous wars by fans and manufacturers alike... in other words, feel free to voice your opinions in the Comments below.
