1935 Ford Truck Hotrod 331 Hemi Engine 2 Dueces Runs Great Sharp Truck on 2040-cars
Bremen, Georgia, United States
Here is a very cool looking truck. It's a 1935 Ford Hotrod truck with a 331 old school Hemi Engine that runs great. It has an automatic transmission that shifts out good. This truck has a Ford 9" rear with adjustable coilover shocks and a straight axle frontrend with rack and pinion steering and front disc brakes. Its drives and handles really good. The body is Steel and in very good condition. It has Red steelie wheels with moon hubcaps and wide white radial tires. The interior is nice with a Banjo steering wheel, tall Lokar shifter and a nice bench seat done in Red. The gas tank is in the bed of the truck. At the present time the truck has no windows in the doors, no carpet or headliner. Very sharp attention getter here that is different from most. The Hemi engine makes the difference. This truck starts easy and drives very good. Great for local car shows and cruise in's.
I reserve to end auction early if truck sells locally. It is sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are welcome and encouraged. Any questions you have please ask and I will get you an answer. I am listing for a friend so if I don't know the answer I will get you the answer from the owner. AWESOME ATTENTION GETTER HERE!! PLEASE DON'T ASK THE RESERVE CAUSE I WON'T GIVE IT OUT. I HAVE MORE PICS IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE THEM. Thanks for looking. |

Ford only automaker to make 2012 Buzz Rankings, Toyota most improved
Wed, 30 Jan 2013Ford landed itself a spot among the top 10 brands in the 2012 Buzz Rankings. The annual index scores 1,100 brands in 41 categories to determine which nameplates had the most positive buzz throughout the year.
For the third year in a row, Subway took the top honors overall with a score of 40.3, and Ford was the only automaker to break into the top 25 by earning a sixth-place finish overall. The manufacturer earned a score of 32.1 points, which was enough to push it up one spot from the 2011 Buzz Rankings. Honda managed 21.2 points overall, which is still well behind 25th-place Kohl's at 26.5 points. Toyota, Volkswagen and BMW all round out the top five automakers.
The 2012 Buzz Rankings also keep track of which brands improved the most over the past year, and this year, Toyota was the manufacturer with the largest leap forward. The Japanese automaker jumped from just 14 points in 2011 to 20.5 in 2012. Chrysler, Kia, Dodge and Volkswagen all saw sizable steps forward as well. Be sure to head over to the Brand Index site for more information.
Ford hiring 800 more salaried workers than originally expected
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Ford is on a roll this year, with excellent quarterly earnings and better-than-expected vehicle sales leading to 800 more job opportunities with the Blue Oval. In January, Ford announced that it wanted to hire 2,200 salaried employees, but, since then, that figure has been revised to 3,000, representing a 36-percent increase over original projections. About 1,500 of those jobs remain, 80 percent of which are technical professional positions.
"Engineers and technical professionals are in as much demand as our cars, trucks and SUVs," says Felicia Fields, Ford Group Vice President for Human Resources. Helping to spur this job growth are increasing market share on both the West and East Coast and robust demand for the Ford Escape and F-150.
To find job candidates, Ford is reaching out to them via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in addition to the company's corporate career site. The Blue Oval is also ramping up its presence on college campuses.
2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]
Fri, 19 Sep 2014At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.
