V10 MUSTANG ONE OF A KIND 345HP NO EXPENSE SPARED ON THE MOTOR AND CONVERSION VERY LOW RESERVE, I HAVE MORE IN JUST THE MOTOR THAN WHAT THE RESERVE IS SET AT V10 Mustang.This 95 Mustang has a Ford 6.8L Triton V10 transplant. The car is titled as a v6. This is a one of a kind, custom transplant. This is a project car that needs to be finished. Most of the mechanical work has been done, and cosmetics are left. The car does run and will go down the road. The engine is rated at 310 hp and 425lbs torque, but has been increased to approx. 345hp and 450lbs due to the SCT Custom Tune. The car must use premium. Condition: The car is in need of some body work. Most of the body has been sanded down and primed. Some old paint still needs to be sanded and the quarter panels need some body repair. Because of the engine transplant, the body portion of the car needs to be re wired. The tail lights are already done, but the headlights, wipers and dash needs to be finished. Also the instrument cluster needs to be wired or replaced with performance gauges. The engine has been freshly rebuilt, but the transmission is a T45 with unkown mileage, but it works fine. I have also installed a ignition switch and push button starter in the center console. Jerry Seinfeld doesn't love Sarah Jessica Parker's new Country Squire in latest CiCGC
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker's 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.
However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end - at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.
Since this is actually SJP's car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld's reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this '70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.

Tue, 23 Apr 2013Just a few months ago, fan safety at racetracks was a hot topic following the last-lap NASCAR Nationwide Series crash at Daytona that sent large pieces of racecars into the grandstands injuring 33 fans. Now, a freak incident at a National Hot Rod Association event resulted in a drag racer's bodywork flying into the crowd at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte over the weekend. The carbon-fiber body of Robert Hight's Ford Mustang funny car blew off toward the end of a run when his engine exploded, but fortunately, the two fans evaluated after the incident were later released without serious injury.
As you can see in the image above, the body flew high into the air before landing on a walkway in front of the grandstands, a bit of happenstance that likely gave most fans enough time and space to move out of the way. Ford invests $682 million in Edge-producing Canadian facility
Sun, 22 Sep 2013Ford announced that it's investing $682 million in its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, Canada, to make it a global manufacturing plant, which the automaker also says secures 2,800 jobs there. Including this injection of cash, Ford has invested over $2 billion in Canada in the last decade, starting with nearly $1 billion for Oakville in 2004, and over $570 million for its Essex Engine Plant in 2010.
The move to make Oakville a global manufacturer of Ford vehicles means, "If consumers suddenly shift their buying habits, we can seamlessly change our production mix without having to idle a plant," says Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas.
Ford says that the latest investment will help it meet North American demand for the Oakville-produced Edge crossover, which is on track this year to beat 2007's US sales record of 130,000 Edges. The Ford Flex and Lincoln MKX and MKT are also manufactured at the plant.
