THIS IS A VERY NICE 67 MUSTANG IT IS ABOUT 95% PERCENT OF THE WHOLE CAR BEING COMPLETE .
THE 2 FRONT SEATS NEED RE DONE , BUT NOT REALLY BAD . MOST OF THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE INCLUDING HEARD LINER AND COUNCIL . I REPLACED A NEW GAUGE AND FOR SOME REASON , THE GAS GAGE IS NOT WORKING NOW AND ALSO THE OIL PRESSURE I THINK THE WIRE DID NOT GET ATTACHED PROPERLY . THE CAR DOES HAVE A 6 CYL IN IT BUT RUNS REALLY GOOD , I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO PUT A V8 IN IT BUT I JUST DONT HAVE NO TIME RIGHT NOW . THE PAINT JOB IS NEW AND LOOKS GOOD . I HAVE THE TITLE IN HAND , SO IF YOU LIKE THESE OLD MUSTANGS IT LOOKS GOOD AND A LOT OF THUMBS UP . ALSO NEEDS A REAR VIEW MIRROR . IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK . Ford to reveal Vignale sub-brand with special Mondeo in Frankfurt
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Ford says that 10-15 percent of its customers in Europe want their cars to be set apart from regular Fords - even those wearing the top Titanium X trim - and the Blue Oval will answer them with the Vignale sub-brand. The new brand proposes a more upscale look and a much-improved dealership experience, Autocar reports. The Vignale Mondeo will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show to kick off the new endeavor.
The first Ford to receive the Vignale treatment will be the 2015 Mondeo, a Euro-only model, followed by the new S-Max and Edge. The Vignale Mondeo is set apart visually from other Mondeos by a chrome grille and chrome door handles and mirror caps. Mondeo badging will be deleted - only Vignale badging will make an appearance.
The interior will get a more upscale flavor, as well, with quilted leather seats and door trim and leather covering the instrument panel, center console and steering wheel. A Vignale-badged storage drawer will be installed in the trunk, and in-car Wi-Fi is available.
NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.
Ford dealers offered discounts on tools to fix aluminum
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With the introduction of the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 (and the likely use of aluminum in future Ford products), Ford is looking to help its dealerships reduce costs related to repairing this more labor-intensive material. Automotive News is reporting that Ford dealers with body shops will require an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in equipment and training to work on aluminum, and to help alleviate the financial burden of the new F-150, Ford has announced a special 20-percent discount on this equipment.
Dealers will be able to save up to $10,000 on tools such as welders, air-filtration systems and rivet guns and to create aluminum-specific work stations. The new F-150 goes on sale in the fourth quarter, and dealers have until October 31 to take advantage of this deal, according to the report.
