This is my baby. I am reluctantly selling it!  I purchased this in October of 2012, with the intention of keeping it forever. Unfortunately, I injured my back, and its a challenge to get in and out of due to the fact its so low to the ground. . This car has never seen the rain, its always garaged indoors in a 70 degree climate controlled garage. Its never been washed , where it wasn't also professionally buffed and detailed by me. I am very OCD, and no one touches my cars but me.  The passenger seat has been sat in 1 time. Car comes with the Recaro racing seats, the car cover ( which has never been removed from it sealed case).....If this car isn't perfect, and as described, Ill knock 20k off the price. No dings, no paintwork, no chips, no curbrash,  no excuses, no apologies... Its been buffed to perfection, and the paint looks 10 feet deep... see pics..There will be no disappointments, just you driving away in a new car, that was broken in properly.

Just a note, I have been fortunate enough in my 60 years on this planet, to have owned over 116 cars . Most new, and I have had everything in the book. This is by far , the best bang for the buck out there anywhere. Its the best balanced car I have ever had, and it feels like firm butter to drive. Jay Leno, summed it up best, when he said he would take it over his Shelby Gt500 with 650 horses. He said this car drove better, and felt better balanced than anything he had driven. Go to Jay Leno's garage, for more.. Enough said. 770 605 2648  if you have any questions!!

PS  Yes this has the track key, but it has not been activated, regards Buzz

Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy

Sun, 31 Aug 2014

Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.
