This vehicle started out as a 2006 Mustang GT Premium and ended up as a screeming GT500 Super Snake Clone. The bottom of the car looks as good as the top! Not A Dent Scratch Or Ding. Lets start by saying the end power is just under 600HP. Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger, 85mm throttle body, Edelbrock cold air induction, cast aluminum drive brackets, cast aluminum crossover, 110sq intercooler, electronic water pumps, recovery tank, custom molded hoses, 60lbs injectors, ford racing high flow dual fuel pumps and lines, 3.25 pulley, brent speed tune, extended range drop in MAFS, aluminum fuel railes, Ford racing blue valve covers, HT0 high temp spark plugs, cold air intake system mass air upgrades and 3" Borla exhause. Wow does it sound amazing! The hood was replaced with a Super Snake hood, the front bumper was replaced with a Super Snake bumber, the grill was replaced, the car was badged "rear deck, fenders and grill" with GT500 Super Snake badges, the rear bumper was crafted to resemble the Super Snake package, GT500 SN wheels and tires were installed, the vehicle received a lowering racing package for that mean look, Super Snake side scoops were painted and installed, the vehicle received over $10,000 worth or paint work "Just the labor" that included all the stripes completely painted and cleared over for that smooth feel and look, painting and prepping the rear, front and Hood panels, the head and arm rest were replaced with Super Snake ones, the car will receive a Super Snake shift assemply that is on order, also the dash will receive a shelby signature, the rear window panels received a custom cover inside the vehicle, custom shelby mats installed, stock door sills replaced with bullet GT500 ones, Super Snake side stripes will be included and I am sure I am missing a whole bunch.

Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes

Sun, 29 Dec 2013

Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.

2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.
