You are bidding on a very nice 2003 Ford Mustang GT that runs strong. I am 42 years old and it is not been dogged. It is a five speed with a Hurst shifter, strong clutch, and lots of aftermarket parts. It has red neon lights underneath which were done right, tinted windows, blue LED interior lights, LED headlights and fog lights, aftermarket taillights, Aftermarket JVC stereo with CD, amp and sub woofer in trunk. The brakes are good and the tires only have around 1500 miles on them. The air-conditioning is cold and heat is hot. Comes with all power options including driver seat, has ghost gauges, Chrome window and door lock replacement buttons, line lock which is currently not activated, aftermarket cold air intake, Aftermarket throttle body, and more.
The body is in excellent condition and the paint is probably about a six or seven over all. The driver side fender was touched up and needs repainted.. Clearcoat is coming off some areas on the front bumper and a few places on the hood. There are various chips and scratches in the paint so please do not expect a brand-new paint job. The racing stripes are showing age. I'm trying to remember everything but highly recommend an independent inspection or make sure you ask lots of questions.
This is an awesome car! A real head turner! If you see it and could drive it, you will want it, and it is very fast.
The exhaust is an X pipe and 3 inch pipes out the back. It sounds incredible! I've not heard a Mustang that sounds quite like this one. The rims are nice but not perfect.
There are no leaks that I am aware of and everything works. You will not be disappointed in this car and the mileage is extremely low, under 82,000 miles.
I do not want to sell it but I drive a lot and need to get something different as I don't want to put a lot of miles on this. It gets about 16 or 17 in MPG around town and I've done as well as 24 MPG on the highway.
Local pickup only and an immediate deposit is required. Full payment due within 3 days and there is no refund on the deposit if you back out. Thanks for looking and don't forget to ask questions. You will not be disappointed!

Ford, Samsung shack up to bring regen braking to non-hybrid models [w/video]
Mon, 09 Jun 2014Ford must be desperate to get itself ready for the beach this summer because it is really trying to get into shape. Shortly after unveiling the Lightweight Concept that cut the weight of a Fusion down to that of a Fiesta, it's now the rest of the line's turn for improvement. The company is wrapping up a 10-year research project aimed at developing next-gen automotive batteries to improve efficiency.
Ford claims that 70 percent of its lineup will have stop/start tech by 2017. The key to this massive proliferation is its new dual-battery system that combines a lithium-ion battery with a lead-acid one and regenerative braking. The setup works by harvesting braking energy and converting it to electricity. When the vehicle stops, the engine shuts off, but the Li-ion battery has enough juice to keep the accessories running. The engine starts up again as drivers take their foot off the brake. The layout would mean less wasted gas while idling. It's already available on Ford hybrids and is somewhat similar to the i-Eloop capacitor-based system from Mazda.
The bigger challenge is tuning the regenerative braking right. While hybrid drivers may be a little more adventurous, when it comes to getting a hang of regen braking, conventional buyers might not be so open-minded. The systems have a tendency to be a little grabby at first and then taper off at very low speeds. Ford needs to make sure it's just right to avoid turning off buyers.
What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
Former Cadillac boss Butler takes Ford tech job
Tue, 07 Jan 2014When Don Butler made the surprising decision to leave his post as Cadillac's VP of global strategic development, it was a surprise. Citing a desire to "recalibrate, reassess my priorities" in that August announcement, it wasn't entirely clear where Butler - a virtual General Motors lifer after spending nearly 30 years with the company - would end up. Turns out he took a trip to Dearborn.
Butler has taken a position in the newly created position of Executive Director of Connected Vehicles and Services at Ford, where he'll be responsible for the Blue Oval's global connectivity strategy. "Not only does Don understand the connected car landscape, but probably just as important, he understands customer expectations," said Raj Nair, who, as Group Vice President of Global Product Development, is Butler's new boss. "Having a leader with technology experience both inside and outside the industry is a rare combination - we're excited to have Don join our team."
As Ford has received its fair share of flak for the sometimes recalcitrant MyFord Touch infotainment system and its Sync voice-controls, it appears that Butler has his work cut out for him.
