Please contact me only at : marcia6ybeatty@cash4u.com My son bought this car and bored of it and left me holding the financing. Thesefox body convertibles are becoming harder find in this kind of condition. If youare paying any attention to the market, prices on these cars are rapidlygrowing. This is the time to get that fox body convertible 5.0 that you havebeen dreaming about. Do not insult me with a low offer for the car. The reserveand the BUY it now is close to each other. If you have an ebay feedback of lessthan 20, you will need to contact me before bidding or your bid will be deleted. If you grew up in the '80s you know this car. Calypso coral paint with ablack convertible top & black interior is a classic GT look. There have beensome modifications made to the car such as a change in color from the originalhunter green to a much more desirable color. The paint quality is in goodcondition. The only visible issue I can see is that these are a couple spiderweb cracks in the fiberglass hood where the bolts go into the hood. They arevery light and not noticeable unless looking closely. Exterior mods include theMach 1 Style Fiberglass Hood, smoked headlights with BRAND NEW HID Bulbs, parking light lenses, and new taillights. The old cheese grater taillights hadlong since been replaced with goofy round ones that I replaced quickly with theLX version lights. The GT's interior is a great place to do some seriousdriving. Black leather upholstery with red piping looks pretty sweet in thatinterior. She was re-upholstered at one point. Whomever did the work wasexceptionally good at their job bec

Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes
Sun, 29 Dec 2013Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car
Mon, 24 Mar 2014There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.
Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013
The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.
