I started a project car about 7 years ago, many upgrades to the engine, all of which was professionally done locally, new top end kit from trickflow( heads, valves, intake, camshaft), cold air intake, mass air conversion kit, under drive pulleys, BBK shorty headers, off road X pipe, flow master mufflers, stage 2 RAM clutch, Findiaza aluminum flywheel, Eibach lowering springs for better handling! Car is super fast! super fun to drive, and too just let loose in! Is for sale locally, and will entertain reasonable offers. asking 6300.00 OBO. thanks for looking and ask as many questions as you want. milage is not correct. The car needs work done, painted , its a work in progress, interior could use a touch up( previous owner custom painted some of the interior dash and door panels), new headliner, dent in passanger door, and i believer the master cyclinder needs replacing, i only drive the car about 2 times a year, it needs using and run and a good home! happy bidding, and please ask as many questions as you want and for pictures of any defects you might inquire. The money was spent on the engine, exhaust, and the drive transmission, they are solid a sound good!

Did a US automaker blow the whistle on Hyundai, Kia fuel economy issue?
Mon, 17 Dec 2012In all of the most hotly contested mainstream segments of the motoring universe, the difference of one mile per gallon averaged on a widow sticker can mean the difference between a sale and a walk-off - to say nothing of two or three mpg. So, when Hyundai and Kia were forced to reveal that many of their 40-mpg ratings were actually 38s and 37s, well, it made for big news.
It also, conceivably, made for a competitive disadvantage immediately, when the Korean automakers' products were being shopped versus the guys down the block. And it's that disadvantage that makes a recent story from Automotive News so juicy.
AN is reporting that Margo Oge, former head of the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, got a tip in 2010 that Hyundai/Kia were "cheating" to get its impressive fuel economy numbers. The tip, said Oge (who retired from the EPA this past September), came from a senior vice president from a domestic automaker. The source was credible enough for Oge to launch an audit of the Hyundai figures, which ultimately lead to the debacle that we reported on a few months ago, and that the Korean company has been trying to bounce back from ever since.
Why Ford's Alan Mulally would be right for Microsoft, or any company
Thu, 03 Oct 2013
That Mulally was seriously being considered says a great deal about Microsoft and Mulally.
It appears that the chatter about Ford CEO Alan Mulally possibly leaving early to take over as CEO of Microsoft is losing air pretty fast. What's pretty interesting is that it got any traction in the first place.
Project Ugly Horse: Part V
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The Slippery Slope
I've had a healthy appreciation for cars that stop since one truly unfortunate incident with a runaway 1971 Lincoln Continental.
It's funny how quickly a party can turn from, "We're all having blast" to "What happened to the front of the house, and how many stitches do you think this is going to take?" Standing in a Mustang salvage shop in Kodak, Tennessee, I couldn't help but feel I had strayed into the latter territory with Ugly Horse. There was a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 plucked from a rear-ended Cobra sitting off to my left. The shelves were lined with second-hand Roush and SVT components galore, but I couldn't stop staring at a set of rotors with the approximate diameter of my chest.
