ford Mustang Mach 1 is in great shape , has been garage kept for most of its life , body is straight, no rust or dents , there is a bit of rust on passenger floor. It has been a 2 owner car. It comes with 351 engine and auto tranny. Engine is original , but has been built, not sure exactly what has been done to it or how much HP it has , but the car is very fast. Aftermarket exhaust, car sounds great. Everything looks original , there has been some stabilizers added to rear axle, Most likely to handle extra power. Tires, rims in great shape.
Overall car is in great shape considering its 45 year age, some fading on black spoiler and back window louvers. If you have any questions , please email me. Have received several emails with similar questions. Car has 63800 original miles. It has been in GA at least for last 32 years. Not sure where first owner had it. Car has GA title. It was mostly garage kept. All panels and drive train to my knowledge are original. Could not find any signs of it been wrecked and repaired, Looks like some repairs have been done on inside edges of both quarter panels. All panels lign up. Door trunk, hood open and close perfectly. There is no visible rust underneath fenders or wheel wells. A little bit on both bottoms of doors. Its missing trunk lock. passenger floor right at seat is rusted through . Ford wins second consecutive Engine of the Year with 1.0L EcoBoost [UPDATE]
Wed, 05 Jun 2013For the second year in a row, Ford has taken top honors in International Engine of the Year voting. As was the case last year, it is Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine that earns the automaker the accolade, achieving the highest-ever accumulated score in the 15 years that the award has been handed out.
A panel of 87 automotive journalists from 35 countries are responsible for choosing the world's best engines, and this is only the third time an automaker has managed back-to-back victories. Voters were impressed by the "Baby EcoBoost" engine's power output - 123 horsepower between 1,400 and 4,500 rpm, 148 pound-feet of torque from 1,400 to 4,000 rpm - and its compact size; Ford has demonstrated that the package is small enough to fit in the overhead bin of a passenger airplane.
Currently, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost is offered in the European Fiesta, B-MAX, Focus, C-MAX and Grand C-MAX, and Ford plans to put the engine in the Transit Connect, Transit Courier, Tourneo Connect, Tourneo Courier, Mondeo and EcoSport in short order. In North America, the Fiesta will be the first vehicle to offer the 1.0L EcoBoost later this year.

Wed, 25 Jun 2014Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.
