Up for bids is this 1965 ford mustang. This is a good project for someone looking to build one. This car has a 289 engine with a automatic transmission. It has disc brakes on the front with a nine inch rear end. This car was originally a 6 cylinder car when it was new but has been converted over to a complete V8 set up with the disc brakes and nine inch rear end. This car cranks and runs good. It could probably use a little carburator work and some fine tuning but overall it runs good. As for the body it will need some work but not a ton of work. The passenger rear quarter will need some work. The other body panels are pretty nice and will need little to no work. The floor pans have a few rust spots in them but are patchable with sheetmetal unless you are wanting to build a show car then you would need to replace them. The glass is okay in it. The interior is all there but is original and will need restoring. This is a complete car and would make a good project if you are looking to build one. It is driveable like it is but the tires are old and it could probably need a little more fine tuning in areas before it would be road ready. The frame rails are good. It has a clear title. It is located in Jonesboro Louisiana. If you have questions or need more info give me a call at 318-278-1069. The car is for sale locally. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for this item.

Jay Leno takes a Surfin' Safari in a 1937 Ford Woodie Restomod
Tue, 21 Oct 2014Woodie wagons were a major part of surfing culture in the 1960s, offering coastal style and a ton of room, and they even earned a mention in the Beach Boys' classic song Surfin' Safari. This week, Jay Leno's Garage takes a look at two modern, restomodded examples of these style icons.
Unlike a lot of restomods, builder Scott Bonowski keeps these wagons looking almost completely stock on the outside, and all of the upgrades are hidden underneath the timber. You can't tell by looking at it, but the '37 Woodie (pictured above) has independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes and a Ford 5.0-liter V8 under the hood.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, the craftsmanship into the wood is astounding. Bonowski claims there are between 30 and 50 coats of varnish on this wagon. It makes these woodies as much of a piece of fine furniture as a vehicle to drive.

Ford confirms launch of new Tourneo vans and Ecosport in Europe for Geneva
Sun, 24 Feb 2013We've already seen plenty of what the Geneva Motor Show will have in store for us in less than two weeks, but most of the confirmed debuts that were announced so far have generally been luxury or performance cars. Ford, on the other hand, will be showing off a couple of its new family-friendly models for European buyers to enjoy.
On the larger side of things, the full range of Tourneo vans (shown above) will be on display, including the introduction of the new Tourneo Courier model, but Ford will also be showing off the all-new EcoSport crossover, which is based on the automaker's Global B platform and will be positioned beneath the Kuga, better known here as the Escape. The subcompact EcoSport was originally unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show last April.
