1972 MODEL T RODSTER / RAT ROD This hotrod was built back in 1955 they started of with a Model T Rodster then cut off the rear trunk portion of the car.  then added the trunk of a Model A Coupe and fenders.  The car was driven around for a few years and then the owner disasembled it and then put in a loft of a barn where it sat for many years.  I bought just the body and started building the car last year.  I purchased a brand new frame from Spirit Industries.  The front end is a straight axel with all Chevy parts(disbrakes caliburs roaders and spindles) the rear end is a Chevy 10 bolt.  It comes with a new aluminium 3 core radiator set up for a SBC.  It has a 327 ci engine with a 700 r4 trans I Have started installing the floor but have not competely finished. (has rear body mounts installed but not front ones)The rear rims are 15 x15 the tires are M/T.  29.18.5/15 rear tires and rims are new never ran the fronts are new rims which are 14x6 with almost brand new tires.  THIS CAR IS JUST A PROJECT IN MOCK UP STAGE(ENGINGE MOUNTS/TRANS MOUNTS ARE PRESENT BUT NOT WELDED IN)  I HAVE NO TITLE WITH THIS PROJECT.... BUT ONCE CAR IS COMPLETED SPIRIT INDUSTRIES OFFERS A BRAND NEW VIN TAG AND REGISTRATION PAPERS FOR $300.00 WHICH WILL TITLE THIS CAR AS A 1927 T RODSTER.  ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A PROJECT CAR!!!! This unique '64 Mustang was Edsel Ford II's first car

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

You probably had the same dream when you were a teenager. Your sixteenth birthday is coming up, or Christmas, or maybe both, and all you want is a muscle car to call your own. That dream has come true for some, and one of them was none other than Edsel Ford II.
Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.

Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line

Wed, 05 Jan 2011

The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.

2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Up until now, it's been some years since I managed to get behind the wheel of the hot Mustangs tuned by the folks at Roush Performance. My memories of those vehicles are fond, as the Roush up-fits usually make for better-driving examples of the iconic Ford pony, with better-tuned suspensions, excellent short-shift kits and, of course, huge additions of power. The wake-your-neighbors aural characteristics of these cars have been nothing short of outstanding, too.
But in the years since my last experience with the Roush formula, Ford's own development team has churned out some pretty potent 'Stangs. We currently live in a world where the Blue Oval will sell you a Mustang with 662 horsepower from the factory, and the recently departed Boss 302 remains one of the best Mustangs - and best sports coupes - the Autoblog crew has ever driven.
So with great-driving and hugely powerful Mustangs coming straight off the line at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant, does the Roush package still offer that extra special something to make it stand out? I spent a week with a Stage 3 coupe to find out.
